Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.
In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.
Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.
Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

Lillie
Lillie couldn't remember coming here, but the sound of the waves and the sea-scent in the air is familiar. She also had Snowy, safe in her arms, although equally mystified. When the sea breeze blew past and turned the pinwheels, she felt a rush of joy and burst into a great big smile, whirling around a bit herself!
It was a lot like Alola, isn't it? The clothes, however, were different and interesting to her, particularly the yukata.
B.
She was so caught up in it all, that she momentarily forgot her hat—how very unlike her—and the wind sent it flying clear off.
"A-ah...!"
She tried her best to chase after it, Snowy leaping to the sand and bounding after it too, barking. Would you please help them?
B
His thoughts are however put to a momentary halt upon spotting a hat flying off in the wind. Without a moment's hesitation he snapped his fingers, as Hoopa came sweeping by to easily catch Lillie's hat.
Instead of flying over to Lillie with the hat in tow, Hoopa will make his way over to Lear before placing the hat on top of his head.
"W-what the?! Hoopa, no this hat isn't for me-"
"Hoopapapapa!" The mischievous Pokemon giggled in response.

Trip
The last Trip recalled, he was... nowhere near a beach, much less an eastern region. He loved festivals, sure, and at any other time, the sight of a summer festival would stir up nostalgia in him, but he had no memory of coming here and that alarmed him!
... unless maybe this was just one of those places with a lot of people from Kanto or something? They had summer festivals like that in some islands near Unova, right? Maybe he wasn't that far from home...
He checked to make sure he wasn't missing anything else apart from memories—good, okay, pokeballs, camera, X-transciever, PokeDex, all here... he definitely wasn't robbed and left here, so that's good!
He still had no idea what was going on and didn't like that one bit, so he decided to demand an answer from the nearest person.
"Where is this place? — What? There's no Turnbloom City in Unova... — B-but that can't be right, I never even HEARD of the Ultern region! It isn't in any books I've read, not even on any maps, I'd remember...!"
Whichever local Trip was bothering appeared to give up on him to focus on festival preparations, leaving Trip VERY irate, crossing his arms and fuming.
B.
Sitting under a beach umbrella, looking straight at Serperior, who looked back just as seriously, Trip occasionally broke the silence to suggested possible explanations.
"... maybe we were spirited away here. Like, by a Ghost type. ... or maybe it was a Fairy type..."
Followed by other equally unsubstantiated theories!
A
Except he seemed just as lost as he was. A line formed onto his lips as he observed Trip through his sunglasses. Crossing his arms he's still staring down at Trip, while trying to gather his thoughts together.
"You don't look familiar. Where are you from?"
[... I have a feeling they'll clash]
They so would LOL

There Lear stood, sticking out like a sore thumb dressed head to toe not that it seemed to bother him despite the tropical climate. No, what distressed him at the moment was trying to pinpoint where he was, and how. So anyone who comes across him now will notice him talking to a Hoopa of all things, grilling the giggling Pokemon for answers.
"Hoopa, was this your doing?!"
"Eheehehehehe!" Hoopa's giggling while twirling around Lear, and moving away. Lear will soon be giving chase after his Pokemon determined to get answers.
"Hoopa come back this instance!"

Lucas turns around like a Sawsbuck caught in headlights. As his mind is filled with thoughts about his whereabouts, he had little time to process what's about to come.]

Although he was careful, his foot suddenly got caught by the root of one of the trees, and immediately Lucas braced for impact.
Water then splashes against his face.]
...Huh!?
[The taste of saltwater was enough to startle Lucas as he pulls himself up and move away from the shore.
Instead of blinding white snow, he's faced with the bright warm tropical sun, the vibrant blue waters of the ocean, and the swirling festive mood that surrounds him. It was so warm in fact, that after not too long, Lucas decides to take off his winter coat and roll up his long sleeves. That and his coat's already soaking wet from the water he dunked himself into anyway.
Lucas now is visibly lost and confused as he walks around the festival site, passing by all the booths, the spinning pinwheels, and taking notice of the strange new Pokemon he's never seen before.]
I wonder where I am this time...
[It sounds as if he's experienced this before.]

[Suddenly out of nowhere it's your rival! Barry!
Whether he's aware of the change in surroundings or not is a mystery. Either way he's blazing through the streets. There's plenty of sounds of surprise from the people on the streets to sounds of amusement.
Unsurprisingly, Barry is still barreling through headed straight for Lucas. What's going to happen next!?]

dragon-shaped
[It felt a bit like going from wake to sleep, really. The transition barely noticeable, smooth, landing you in medias res of whatever plotline your subconscious brain feels like conjuring. Giratina only truly realizes his change in locale when the wind shifts the palm trees's cover, causing the bright sun to beat down upon him. He growls, covering the confusion with annoyance-- and without much care tears open a portal to Distortion World to disappear into. It closes behind him, and that should be the end of that......except another portal opens a short distance away and he emerges from it again. Evidently this is as much of a surprise to him as to anyone else. What the fuck??????
Later, should you wander away from the busting festival crowds-- perhaps in the same sort of daze-- you may find that you aren't entirely alone. A pair of large red eyes glitter up at you from the shadows of the treeline. Well, you know what they say about tall grass!]
human-shaped
[This may as well fucking happen. It's fine? He guesses???? Perhaps Arceus is playing a prank on him because he never leaves his fucking house. BUT WHOSE FAULT IS IT THAT HE GOT USED TO DOING THAT, HUH, MOTHER? (it's his fault.)ANYWAY, deciding he'd rather not start a Category 5 Event, Giratina decides to make his best attempt at blending in so he can wander around the stalls. Despite the I Am Definitely A Human idiosyncrasies it seems to work; soon enough Tina has been handed a candy apple and is staring at it pensively. Whadda hell is this?
In the evening you may find him standing at the shoreline, staring hard out to sea while the sun sets. The tide is coming in, lapping at his boots, but whatever he's thinking about seems to be consuming his attention.]
dragon-shaped!
Giant, disembodied red eyes, glowing with malice, were kind of a familiar sight when you raised a Ghost type fond of illusions, especially one with the move Hex. Still, this did feel like a different scale than Frillish…]

Shaymin | OTA
[She blended in remarkably well too, with the tropical clothes and floral print. Though something still seemed a bit off. Maybe it was the hair. Maybe it was fervent wide-eyedness, as though seeing festival booths for the very first time (or in a very long time). Maybe it was one of those thing drawing in a bit more attention than usual.]
[Or maybe it was the flowers suddenly looking a little more vibrant everywhere she went. Smaller flowers randomly blooming. Occasionally tufts of grass and foliage just barely escaping the cracks in the street. Or had those always been there? ...It's possible those were always there.]
no subject
[Lillie couldn't help but notice the flowers blooming. It really was a familiar sight.]
It's almost like... that Shaymin...
[She was thinking aloud to herself, really, rather than addressing anyone in particular, but Snowy also noticed the familiar sight, although Lillie hasn't thought to associate anything but a small, padding, hedgehog-like Pokemon... or perhaps a certain singing Legendary Pokemon with the sight.]

[ Sonia trails off, checking for the most important thing of all-- which is happily trotting off after verifying his trainer is alive, to go track down the sources of smells both familiar and unfamiliar.
So you're probably minding your own business when you find this adorable little electric corgi thing come happily trotting in your direction, sniffing circles around you and definitely flopping over for belly rubs if you don't look like you want nothing to do with him.
Followed by-- ]
Yamper!! Will you come back here, at least let me figure out how we got ourselves in this mess--!

Once Sonia approaches, the Lass looks up and smiles.]

A.
[The Team Galactic uniform is made with advanced technology—breathable synthetic fabric, anti-wrinkle, no need to iron! It's fantastic for the lazy!—but there is no scientific force in the world that can keep sand out of it, and so that's what Saturn is doing after his own sudden arrival on the beach: sitting on a bench overlooking the water and trying to shake sand out of the folds of his clothes. But that's easy enough to do mindlessly while his brain is busy . . . processing. He stares out blankly over the water, attempts more than once to check his phone (just in case something has changed this time?), reflexively touches his own forehead (just in case something has changed this time?!)—none of these give him any insight into the situation at all, and finally he removes a Pokeball from his belt instead and releases the Pokemon inside it, regarding it levelly.]
I don't suppose you know anything about this.
[It's not really a question.
Gooooong! replies the Bronzong, super helpfully, and Saturn reaches out to give it a pat.]
B.
[Despite his uniform sticking out like a sore thumb here, not to mention the sand still clinging to it here and there, Saturn isn't about to change it just yet. Once he's gotten his bearings at least somewhat, he wanders through the streets to take in the sights of wherever he's ended up this time, feeling deeply out of place. Because he is. He is literally out of place here! Removed from one place, plunked down into another! Is he the only one in this situation? Most of these people appear to be locals going about their exciting festival day, but he's keeping an eye out for anyone who looks as obviously imported as he is, whether by clothing or behavior . . .
He's still accompanied by Bronzong, which sticks close to him, floating silently at his side. Maybe it's Bronzong Saturn is speaking to when he suddenly mutters:]
—Everyone has Pokemon here.
[Of course they do. Is there anything strange about that?! But for some reason, his tone is slightly surprised anyway . . . and maybe a little disappointed?]
I see . . .
B
[A Parasol Lady spotting both Saturn and Bronzong gave a smile and waved in their direction. However instead of being dressed for the rain in a signature raincoat, and boots she has on a vibrant, sleeveless dress with floral patterns and sandals equally fit for the weather. In fact the white lacy umbrella she held in one hand was clearly a UV umbrella.]

Irwin's first instinct is to pick up his PokeGear and phone a friend! Or maybe a stranger that's about to become his friend? Really, whoever or whatever answers his call. (Ring!) Just don't ask how he got your number. (Ring!) Or maybe do? (Ring! Ring! Ring!)
Once some of the initial surprise wears off, he opts to abandon his worries and enjoy himself at the festival. He's even got a yukata on now! ... as well as the cape and bowtie. It's a bit ridiculous. But he's having fun visiting all the stalls and trying all sorts of foods and games.
If he doesn't end up next to you completely by chance, then perhaps you'll notice a small crowd of kids gathered around him as he lives up to the name of his Trainer class and juggles. He's got his Pokeballs in the air, as well as a couple of apples? And a coconut? Seems like he's taking requests... or maybe "challenges" is a better word here. ]
*makes our npcs touch*
...'Lo?
[Jackie does not recognize this phone number, and he's not really at work, so his customer service persona is a bit skewed. Also he's kind of stressed right now??? So his response to Irwin's incoming phone call sounds kinda. Tentative. BUT HE DID IT]

So now his brain has doubled back to the second point. They are in a very public, unfamiliar place, and Ingo is self-conscious of having an extinct Pokemon following him around as he figures out what is going on. As others stumble upon him, he is currently trying to convince Sneasler to stay put, hidden behind a corner of wall dividing the beach from the city proper.
He is trying to be discreet, but it's Ingo. He is very bad at keeping his voice down.]
Please just sit here, my lady, and I will get us all something to eat, and ask after our whereabouts. Then we will decide what to do, together. All right? I cannot imagine it will take that long.
[Sneasler is making a noise of discontent. Mrrraahhh!
Alternatively, you can encounter him a little while later. Ingo will give up, sigh, and go only a short distance away from her to ask for information, so she can still keep an eye on him.]
Excuse me! I have arrived at an unfamiliar station! I apologize for the unscheduled stop, but I would like to ask a few questions of you!!
(( Ingo is post-PLA and post-PSL, so some info notes if you would like! ))

[ He glances over at Sneasler, giving her a grin. ]

Blue
Waking up on a beach to the sound of lazily rolling waves probably should have been an immediate concern. Unfortunately for Blue's sense of self-preservation, which was generally good, she had gone to sleep on a beach the night before. The crisp shores of Azure Bay were far, far away from the here and now.
It sure was warm this morning, wasn't it? She stretched with a wide yawn, flopping her hand out to the side for her bag. There it was. Very good. There was a morning ritual to be had here, you see. Once she got up on her knees she was rifling through her bag for a water bottle and a little tube.
Don't mind the girl with bedhead brushing her teeth in the middle of a tropical beach. You could say hi if you wanted. She'd wave.
II. we're not in
kansaskalos OR kanto anymoreAt some point she realized it: She had no idea where she was. This would have been far more alarming if she hadn't had her pokeballs with her. It'd only taken a quick headcount to make sure everyone was accounted for. Once that was taken care of... Well! Huh! This sure was different!
And you know what? She just wasn't going to worry about it right now. There was a gosh darn festival going on, and the best way Blue could think of to get acclimated to the situation she was finding herself in was to just join the party. The whole team was gonna need their energy if they had a whole mystery town to explore, after all.
So here she was, squatting with her entourage of pokemon as they gazed upon every kind of skewered food Blue had been able to carry. So many meats. So many fruits. As soon as she noticed someone was glancing at this absolute party that was about to happen, she happily waved them over.
"Hello~! Or, um... Ulsai!" There was a quick glance at her Clefable as if to confirm that this was correct. There was an exchange of nods before Blue whipped her head back around. "Are you hungry? You should join us!"
[Hello hello! If you would rather do action tags, please feel free! If you'd rather wildcard it, Blue is bound to be pretty much wherever you would want her to be. ~Follow your dreams.~]

"Ah, Ulsai. I did not expect that you would be here, Champion of Ultern. It is an honor to meet you face to face." He smiled. "Are you perhaps enjoying the festivities so far?"

Oh, Oleana, just what have you gotten yourself into...
[Don't mind the elegantly dressed woman checking on herself at the beach, she's...visibly stressed, but it's probably fine. Hopefully.
Once she makes it to the streets proper and gets a look around, well, she'll be flagging just about anyone down who'll give her the time of day--that may, in fact, include you as she walks up at a brisk pace, all business-like.]
Hold a moment. Which way do I go to get back to the Galar region? I have a matter of utmost importance to attend to, and I cannot afford to dally.
[All business, and to just about anyone, she seems perfectly composed. She's in fact, anything but.
Once the realization dawns that she's stuck here, Oleana...well, she doesn't quite make herself scarce, but she does seclude herself towards the Outskirts a bit. One might think it's due to not taking the news well and wanting to find a way out, but the stench of something might catch your nose pretty quick before you find Oleana.
You'll find her with her Garbodor, and it seems like she's procured some treats from the festival for the trash heap Pokémon, and she couldn't possibly be happier with what her trainer has managed to procure as she sits down while Oleana stands. Can't stand the idea of getting dirty, even in this sort of state. But it's the softest one might see Oleana, as she reaches out a hand to idly pat her partner as she gobbles up her spoils.]
...Well, it does do my heart good to see you enjoy yourself. Please, indulge as you see fit, my friend.
[You're free to join her if you want! She might not mind company. ...Might, being the key word.]

i.
[It is not the brand-new-world thing that is bothering Neil. That's whatever. She's taken that more or less in stride. But it's kind of impressive, the way this girl is standing at the edge of the beach, off the sand, staring out at it like she's half expecting something from it to rise up and start chasing her—not so much fear (okay, a little bit of fear), but intense annoyance.
There could full well be Danger out there, Neil has decided. She's currently weighing her chances.
The Mankey currently climbed up onto her shoulders, sporting the sweetest little pink bow in his hair (it matches Neil's!) scampers down and takes a few tentative steps towards the sand, only for Neil to swiftly lean down and scoop him up into her arms with a deep frown.
If you pass by her on your way towards the beach, she'll squint at you in a way that's almost suspicious, almost concerned. If you stop by her long enough, she'll try to sign at you:] Do you know anything about this beach?
ii.
[Leave not your snacks unguarded here at the festival, even for a moment. Or even if you do that might not be enough, because Neil's Houndour has escaped her sights and he is a menace. Leaning over to hand a treat to a Pokémon down on the ground? This dog has bolted through and snatched it up and ran away. Idly holding something aside while you talk to someone else? He's got a running start and he is leaping, grabbing it in his jaws, and bolting off. Standing about with food completely out of reach? Introducing: one Houndour, who...stands nearby and barks incessantly up at you, obviously begging.
As he runs off (or as he stands there and tries to get food that isn't his), there's a sharp, impressively loud whistle from the direction he came—and then Neil, removing her index finger and thumb from her mouth and scowling out towards where he went. She'll stop at you, poor victim of thievery, and start signing:] Did you see which way he went?
iii.
[Once she's successfully wrangled Killer and gotten back into the swing of things, Neil is out and about enjoying the festival. The games are a grand old time, and in particular, she sets eyes on the strength tester and books it over that way. She waits in line, she bounces excitedly on her feet the whole time, she idly tosses her Mankey back and forth in her arms. When it's her turn—
And, okay, the thing about Neil is that at a quick glance, she doesn't look that strong. She's short, a little chubby. But when she takes the hammer, she flexes once, and it's much more apparent that this teenager could probably suplex an alarming number of you?
She takes the hammer, makes a big display of winding it up, and slams it down onto the see-saw at the bottom. The puck shoots up—up, up, impressively high for anyone, really, never mind a teenager, but it doesn't quite hit the bell.
Her attempts to indicate trying again only lead to the worker running the game sending her to the back of the line. People are waiting, after all. Neil, looking terribly cross at the whole thing, makes her way right back to the end, Mankey in arms. Despite congratulations received, she still looks a little frustrated...]
iv.

It takes him a moment to get the gist, but Giratina finally replies,] The beach? I have been told its sand boasts a unique shape, but beyond that no further.

Crystal
"What do you feel like, Mega?"
Crystal looks to her Meganium through the translucent layer/projection/however PokeSpe works of its pokeball for confirmation.
same names, different worlds
"You!" he points at Crystal, then falters. "...seem kinda different?" He takes a step back, a bit wary. "Are you even Crystal?"

Mayday Foreman (OC)
A pink-haired young woman clad in black and grey stumbles out of an alley and into a main thoroughfare of the city. This wasn't her house. This wasn't HQ. It wasn't just about anywhere she recognized. Had she been kidnapped? Had she gone on a rager? Had she had one of those weirdass out of body experience again?
"Bloody hell…"
Her accent is almost Galarian, but a little bit...off. Honestly, most everything about her is a little off. She looks your way with a vaguely annoyed expression. "Hey. Where are we right now?"
II. Turnbloom Market
So there's a Team Rocket member walking around Turnbloom City. Like, that's absolutely, 100% a classic Team Rocket grunt uniform. It's almost comical how brazen its wearer is, strolling around and examining the stalls. She's not even trying to hide how she's casing the place. No matter how you slice it, she looks ready to do some CRIME and she doesn't care who knows it. In fact, she looks like she's about to pocket some goods right this very moment! WHAT WILL YOU DO?!
III. Festival
The 20-something criminal is staring at a goldfish scooping game skeptically. The hell is this? The hell is any of this?? They straight up didn’t have shit like this back home. She looks even more out of place than usual here.
"So this is supposed to be fun?"
...Maybe you should show her how it's done!
IV. Wildcard
Hit me with whatever else! I'm game for LITERALLY A N Y T H I N G!! Mayday can be found skulking all around town, picking fights with children and generally getting up to no good. You're welcome to PM me if you'd like to plot something.
Also, please feel free to use brackets when replying if you prefer. I'll absolutely match you, no problemo!
II.
Was this just a weird... fan?? People were weird like that sometimes! But if she wasn't, and she really was acting suspicious as all hell for actually suspicious reasons...! Red might have been the one to bring Team Rocket toppling down the first time, but that didn't mean Blue was gonna let this go unchecked.

Serena | Anime
As such, she ends up walking around a bit, feeling lost. Or rather, she is lost, as she doesn't know much about where she is. There's only one way to become familiar of course, so she might as well cover as much ground as she can.
This is a strange place, after all, so she sets all her Pokemon out to walk with her. As such, you might spy the young girl walking with a Delphox, a Pancham, and a Sylveon.
no subject
He doesn't spot Serena immediately, but his Pikachu on the other hand did pick up the sound of her footsteps and excitedly ran towards her direction.
"Pikachu? Where are you going?"
Pikachu then approached Serena, his tail wagging happily as he began greeting his friends.
"Pikaa! Pikachu!"

Espurr (Ryslig CRAU)
[Well the first thing Espurr notices as she sleeps, is that something feels kinda warm. Actually it feels really warm. Unpleasantly warm. After a few tired blinks, the troll's eyes shoot wide open when she realizes why.
The Sun is a Deadly Laser and it is Directly Above Her-]
Oh-!
[Dressed a little warmly for the weather, given the long-sleeved dress she has on, Espurr- who by all appearances looks like some strange mishmash of a 13 year old girl and at least two different pokemon- scrambles for the nearest source of shade as fast as possible. The burns aren't severe, but they were certainly happening where her skin wasn't protected by cloth, so she's glad she woke up so fast.
...
But where on earth is this?!] ...Mr. Tarn? [she tries, blinking once or twice and trying to see if anyone else is near.] ...Anyone?
[Oh Dear.]
B is BIG
[Well once introductions and information is traded, this isn't so bad all things considered. Sure, she's still not a pokemon, but at least there's pokemon here! Over all, a much more ideal situation.
Her dress has long since been traded out for something cooler though, and she's managed to get herself a parasol to better help with that pesky sun. Things are already looking up!]
Hm. I wonder what that fruit is...
[Whether anyone heard her or otherwise, she doesn't seem to much care- she was talking to herself after all, and to that end the girl abruptly grows to a good ten feet to get a closer look.
Somehow everything else on her changes size to suit. Good thing too, in the parasol's case.] ...Well these definitely aren't apples...
C IS FOR CHALK
[Maybe she should stick to nocturnal life, but look, if everyone and anyone is awake in the daytime, that means anything interesting is going to happen in the daytime too. Well mostly at least. If a good haunting starts up, consider her on board.
Once dusk settles and the gentler evening hours are around though, her parasol is folded up and Espurr decides it's time to play- a small stretch, a few cracked knuckles, and off she goes-!
Skating. How? With chalk. But how?? Chalk from her feet! It's remarkable how far Basically Earth Bending combines with 'Rocks are growing all over you'.
Right now she's not really drawing anything though- mostly just streaking a rainbow across the surface of whatever her skittering feet can manage. But hey-
Got any requests?]
D is for DWildcard
[Espurr is retaining all strengths and weaknesses from Ryslig, save the obvious, ahem, TrademarkCurse that the game has- she'll be dressed in local clothes after initial arrival, and carry around a parasol for that reason, so feel free to hit me up either on the OOC or at
B - have the crazy cat lady
[There's a gasp of surprise by a young woman who was carrying a pink Skitty themed tote bag over her shoulder, and a phone in a fuzzy Espurr themed cover in her right hand. She seemed surprised that Espurr had suddenly changed size in front of her eyes.]
Gasps happily...

Gold (game-based AU)
A boy stands in the middle of the beach, looking around curiously with a wide smile. He's kind of freaking out on the inside. This isn't Goldenrod City. Did he get lost? Again? This is bad.
On the outside, however, he just smiles.
"Wow! I got super lost!" he exclaims, a bit too loud and cheerful-sounding. Noticing the nearest person, he runs up to them and shouts "Hey, hey! Do you know where Goldenrod City is?! I'm lost!" while grinning.
Option B: Festival stalls
At some point afterwards, Gold wanders off to look at the crowded festival. It looked so fun! So much to see and do, yukatas everywhere, trinkets, games, food... It's just like the summer festivals in Ecruteak City he'd seen on TV back home and dreamed of attending some day. All the food smells so good, and he's hungry... Nobody would notice a little bit of food going missing in this crowd, would they?
And that's when you may spot Gold casually snatching a sugar donut off a stall when the shopkeeper's looking away, then turning to leave, hoping nobody saw him. What will you do?
(OOC: First time playing, bear with me!)
Option B!
Ingo moves to block Gold's way, as non-threatening as he can, gently extending an arm to prevent passage.
"Excuse me! I wonder if you have forgotten to give the cashier the coins for the donut?" A good faith interpretation, which will hopefully shame him into compliance even if it was deliberate malice.
Ingo! Yay!

Evie | Fanfiction AU
She shakes the mountain snow out of her ruff and trots along until she's close to people. Oh, this is so nice. After escaping from Team Rocket, she's mostly been on her own since her Pokemon friends left her to search for Radley by herself. She loves friendly people! She opens her mouth to speak, and then is shocked.
"Hello! Have you seen Radley?" is what comes out. As in, she's speaking human talk instead of saying something that they will only hear as "Eevee-vee." She has a very sweet, innocent, high-pitched voice like a little girl's, which is fitting. She may be around 18 in human years, but she is more like a child in mindset, despite her long captivity at Team Rocket's hands.
((OOC: Evie is a character I use at Victory Road, but this particular incarnation of her is from a story I wrote called Take Me On a Journey, which is in a different verse.))
Re: Evie | Fanfiction AU
"I didn't know Pokemon could talk!" Was the first thing that Barry blurts out loud to Evie, before he knelt down to be at eye-level with her. "Is Radley a friend of yours?"
He beamed down at the cute little Eevee. Surely she can't be too far away from her friend, right? He did (literally) run into his own friend! They had to be around whoever this Radley was.

The Festival At Night
In fact it seems more people are out in the streets enjoying time together with one another and their Pokemon. Now it seems most have gathered around in clearings or finding a place to sit as they set their gazes up to the clear, star filled night sky.
In an instant the skies lit up as firework blooms taking many different shapes from flowers to Pokemon. People are letting out a cheer in response.
It looked like the festival was still going strong.
☆★☆
Much later after the fireworks in the city center a man in a vibrant yukata begins playing a particularly upbeat song on his sanshin as he began to sing aloud. It's accompanied by the sounds of drums, and loud whistling. A crowd is slowly forming as they're all seen moving to the beat of the music while swinging their arms in motion.
It looks like they were now gather together to perform what looks to be a group dance.
If anyone were to walk close by, any one of the dancers, even the performer was ushering them to join in on the dance.
Red? He dance
Still, it doesn't stop Red here from facing the closest person who wasn't participating before approaching them with a wide smile and holding both hands out, indicating he wanted to dance with them.
C'mon, c'mon! It'll be fun! Join him!]

After the Tobi Fan Event
On the backdrop, there are words written in strange characters that is almost impossible to decipher. However there is text on the bottom that seem to translate what it says.
It looked like there was an event that took place near the port. However it had already been over by the time you've arrived. There are however a few stalls that are still selling Tobi-related merchandise, possibly for the fans to purchase. T-shirts, posters, mugs, badge pins, bobbleheads, you name it.
There's still enough time to browse if you're curious! On the other hand, you may chat with some of the Tobi fans that are still hanging around.
no subject
Don't be so down Emi. Sure today might have not been a great day, at least we were able to peruse the merchandise. Besides, maybe we'll be lucky! We might catch sight of Tobi during the kachashi later tonight!
[Anyone nearby would be able to overhear the two's conversation.]
