Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.
In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.
Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.
Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

[Lucas remains looking very puzzled by Lear's statements. However this is starting to sound very familiar.]
Um, you probably mistaking me for someone else. [He pauses in thought for a moment, before continuing.] ...Maybe another Lucas from another world?
no subject
[He hasn't met anyone from another world that he knew of, but Lucas didn't know about him or remember being in Pasio.]
If that is the case then could it be a Pokemon's doing? Hoopa may be able to transport people and objects to other places but definitely not another world.
[He's glancing over to Hoopa who looked back at him, puzzled.]
no subject
[Lucas sounds very sure of it. He then places his hand over Hoopa's head, hoping that it enjoys a good pat on the head.]
But... [He lowers his gaze as he mulls.] I doubt it's that Pokemon's doing either.
no subject
[Immediately there were a couple he could think of, but which one was Lucas referring to? He watched as Hoopa giggled in response, before giving a sigh.]
What makes you think it's not that Pokemon's doing? Are you proposing someone, or something else entirely is responsible?
no subject
[Lucas then shifts his gaze away.]
Though... I don't exactly know who or what else would do it either.
no subject
[It wasn't outside the realm of possibilities for Lear. Especially given that the Lucas in front of him wasn't the same as the one who was out there in Pasio.]
no subject
[But Lucas has his doubts about Giratina too.]
Otherwise, I can't think of any other Pokemon that could do that...
no subject
So, do you know where Giratina may be? Perhaps we could convince it somehow to send us back.
no subject
[With one hand still holding onto Hoopa, Lucas uses his other hand to pull out a Pokeball and smiles sheepishly at Lear.]
I caught Giratina too. If it did bring us here, I also would've known by now.
no subject
I believe we're now only talking in circles here, however if you're willing to test out whether your Pokemon can send you back that would be another story entirely.
[Plus, he glanced over to Hoopa who happily met his gaze. He was certain he and Hoopa could try to see whether they could return home through his hoops as well.]
no subject
Mmm, I guess we could try that out...
[There's a hint of hesitance in Lucas' voice. The last time he's tried that out, it only made him realize that he's stuck for a while. Now, there's a feeling in his gut that it'll be the same thing all over.
But... he hopes he's wrong about that this time.]
no subject
[SMALL CHILD! It is a matter of finding a way home or not! Unless...Lucas here had a reason he was reluctant to head home? Lear hadn't considered that until now. He's crossing his arms while in thought.]
Never mind. If you aren't willing to try, I won't force you to. I'm busy after all to test every single little ideas.
no subject
[Lucas blinks and then shakes his head.]
Oh no, I'll do it.
[He then lets go of Hoopa before gripping onto Giratina's Pokeball.]
Giratina! Come on out!
[Soon enough, Giratina reveals itself in its Altered Forme. As it softly lands, the Renegade Pokemon looms over the two youths. Is it judging them? Hard to tell when it always carrying an intimidating presence.]
no subject
Hoopa on the other hand continued to be his silly self as he floated up to Giratina, giggling.]
Hoopapa!
Hoopa, we're not here to play with them!
no subject
Hehe, is your Pokemon always this playful?
no subject
He glanced over to Lucas at his comment.]
Hoopa can be a handful at times because of it, but it's not all bad.
[He is a great partner in battle, and Hoopa did help lighten the mood when things got too tense.]
no subject
It sounds like you two must be very close.
[How nice!]
My Luxray was like that back when she was a Luxio. She was also a handful, and she loved to play around. But after she evolved, my Luxray's calmed down a lot since then.
[Oops, he's just feeling like talking right now.]
no subject
[Wow, what a touching story if only...if only they weren't stuck in a region that they didn't arrive in unwillingly.
Lear crossed his arms frowning deeply while contemplating whether hat wearers just suddenly lost sight of the situation they were in let alone the world around them when talking about Pokemon.
No, that was ridiculous, of course not! Right? ....right?]
In any case, are you, or aren't you going to test out whether your Pokemon there can lend a hand?
[He wasn't trying to come across as insensitive, but he did have pressing matters to attend to back home. Hoopah on the other hand, moved back over to Lear's side with a smile.]
no subject
[He didn't mean to get sidetracked there. Seeing that Lear didn't want to wait any more longer, Lucas starts approaching his Giratina and places a hand over one of its limbs.]
Giratina, will you help us out? We'll need your power to get us back home, and that means going through your world first. Can you do that?
[There is a long pause at first as Giratina stares down at Lucas, maybe in contemplation. After that, all six of its legs kneel down enough for Lucas and Lear to climb on. Seeing that this is the legendary's answer, he smiles.]
Thank you.
no subject
There's no need to apologize.
[Lear stated right after the fact. It was best to apologize out front than keep it in. After all, because he hadn't been more thoughtful of his words people like Team Break came to be. A horrible mistake on his part.
Hoopa sensing Lear being lost in thought happily nudged at Lear, causing him to turn to his Pokemon. As he gave a pat to Hoopa he glanced up in time to see Giratina patiently waiting for him to hop on.]
Huh? You want me to go along with you? I was under the impression you were going to test this out on your own first...not that I'm opposed to the idea.
no subject
I think Giratina's confident in getting us out of here.
[Lucas then climbs on over the legendary's back and once he's settled, he reaches his hand out to Lear.]
no subject
Do you think you could honestly lift me up? I can pull myself up fine, thank you.
[It's fine! Giratina wasn't intimidating at all! Even if the Pokemon towered over himself!!!
Stubbornly ignoring Lucas's hand, Lear made a reach for Giratina's side before hesitating still. Should he at least try and round up others? But...he supposed that could wait for later. While contemplating those thoughts in his mind his Hoopa was back to his side nudging him along.]
Hoopa!? What is it now?
