Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--
There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.
In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.
Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.
Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

I shall lead you. [Giratina turns suddenly to walk down the street, simply assuming Ash will follow him. Let's go!!!]

[Pretend this song is playing in the back as Ash happily follows behind.]
I'm Ash from Pallet Town. And this is my buddy, Pikachu. [Pikachu greets himself with a cry.] We just got here by the way, so we're kinda new around here.
*JAZZ MUSIC STOPS*
[GOD CRINGE!!!! THAT'S JUST HIS FUCKING NAME BUT SHORTER!!!!! AUGH No it's fine. It's fine. As long as Dialga and Palkia never find out, it's fine. By the time Tina stops them at the correct street vendor, he's smoothed out his expression again.]
I have resided upon this island but a scant few hours, myself. I'm afraid I have very little guidance beyond this to provide as recompense for your information.
[He is also watching Ash very closely to see how he eats his candied apple. Don't worry about it. Normal Behavior]

[Once at the stand, he finally gets his piece of candy apple and is grinning from ear to ear as he could pick up the sweet scent of cinnamon coming from it. Not wanting to wait any longer, Ash immediately takes a big bite out of it.]
Mmm, it's so sweet and crunchy!
[When Ash spots Giratina looking at him and his candy apple, he then points to the one in Giratina's hand.]
Hey Tina, you should try it too!

[Ash took a big bite, huh? Tina will do just that, then. He is too used to being a Creacher and made all of his teeth pointy, though, so the visual is rather dire.]
...Hmm. It is interesting. [ 🤔 ]

[Ash takes another bite. And while he doesn't notice it yet, his Pikachu however seems to be eyeing on the candy apple.]

[Chomp. Being a Pokemon himself, Giratina is fully on Pikachu's side here vis-a-vis candy apple stealing. He ain't no snitch. Live your truth, little guy.]

[He says this despite the one time he was shivering because he went to the coldest parts of the region while wearing SHORTS.
Pikachu just wanted... a small taste, that's all. So he leans forward towards the candy apple and started sniffing. Ash however finally did notice as he catches Pikachu at the corner of his eye. And after chipping off a piece of the candy apple, offers it to his buddy who happily takes it.]
But this place isn't so bad either. A lot of the people I've met are nice and friendly too!

[Tina has to agree on that one; he didn't end up with a candied apple handed to him for them not to be. Still, he currently seems more interested in watching Pikachu, observing the exchange with a little half-smile. What a polite baby....]

[He smiles, but there's a slightly contemplative look in his eye. That's a first anyone's ever told him that. Fitting in with the Ulternians doesn't sound too bad though.]
