Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.
In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.
Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.
Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

Espurr (Ryslig CRAU)
[Well the first thing Espurr notices as she sleeps, is that something feels kinda warm. Actually it feels really warm. Unpleasantly warm. After a few tired blinks, the troll's eyes shoot wide open when she realizes why.
The Sun is a Deadly Laser and it is Directly Above Her-]
Oh-!
[Dressed a little warmly for the weather, given the long-sleeved dress she has on, Espurr- who by all appearances looks like some strange mishmash of a 13 year old girl and at least two different pokemon- scrambles for the nearest source of shade as fast as possible. The burns aren't severe, but they were certainly happening where her skin wasn't protected by cloth, so she's glad she woke up so fast.
...
But where on earth is this?!] ...Mr. Tarn? [she tries, blinking once or twice and trying to see if anyone else is near.] ...Anyone?
[Oh Dear.]
B is BIG
[Well once introductions and information is traded, this isn't so bad all things considered. Sure, she's still not a pokemon, but at least there's pokemon here! Over all, a much more ideal situation.
Her dress has long since been traded out for something cooler though, and she's managed to get herself a parasol to better help with that pesky sun. Things are already looking up!]
Hm. I wonder what that fruit is...
[Whether anyone heard her or otherwise, she doesn't seem to much care- she was talking to herself after all, and to that end the girl abruptly grows to a good ten feet to get a closer look.
Somehow everything else on her changes size to suit. Good thing too, in the parasol's case.] ...Well these definitely aren't apples...
C IS FOR CHALK
[Maybe she should stick to nocturnal life, but look, if everyone and anyone is awake in the daytime, that means anything interesting is going to happen in the daytime too. Well mostly at least. If a good haunting starts up, consider her on board.
Once dusk settles and the gentler evening hours are around though, her parasol is folded up and Espurr decides it's time to play- a small stretch, a few cracked knuckles, and off she goes-!
Skating. How? With chalk. But how?? Chalk from her feet! It's remarkable how far Basically Earth Bending combines with 'Rocks are growing all over you'.
Right now she's not really drawing anything though- mostly just streaking a rainbow across the surface of whatever her skittering feet can manage. But hey-
Got any requests?]
D is for DWildcard
[Espurr is retaining all strengths and weaknesses from Ryslig, save the obvious, ahem, TrademarkCurse that the game has- she'll be dressed in local clothes after initial arrival, and carry around a parasol for that reason, so feel free to hit me up either on the OOC or at
B - have the crazy cat lady
[There's a gasp of surprise by a young woman who was carrying a pink Skitty themed tote bag over her shoulder, and a phone in a fuzzy Espurr themed cover in her right hand. She seemed surprised that Espurr had suddenly changed size in front of her eyes.]
Gasps happily...
Wowza.
Espurr looks down herself, and then blinks.
Specifically she blinks at that phone cover, and really, why wouldn't she-] ...Is that...supposed to look like me?
[..................well.]
no subject
[She's glancing down to Espurr's feet but no, no. They definitely weren't height elevating were they? At the next question the woman looked up puzzled.]
What do you mean look like you? It's just a phone case based on what an Espurr looks, that's all. Oh...but you do have cute hair! It reminds me of an Espurr. They're so lovely...I wish I could hug all of them...
[She sighed with a dreamy look. It seemed her thoughts were now preoccupied with Espurrs.]
no subject
No, I'm actually bigger, [she assures, still blinking. And after shrinking back down to a normal height, she even beams a bit.]
That's exactly why I asked though! I am an Espurr! ...Though I suppose now I'm just a 'troll'...it's awful inconvenient. I feel like my classmates now, with a name that doesn't match, [she huffs, quietly wondering what to make of the rest of this woman's words. Should she be worried? Well probably not, she doesn't look a lot like herself after all! She probably just wants to hug normal Espurrs. A problem for Past!Espurr, if anything. Crisis averted.]
no subject
[That had snapped the woman out of her Espurr filled daydream. She was unable to hide her shock. Now she's looking Espurr up and down before moving in closer while cupping her chin in thought.]
I don't really understand everything you're saying, but hmmm...!
[She's now taking in the top of Espurr's head, realizing how her hair did look a like like Espurr's but it was still so hard to believe. Almost as unbelievable as how Espurr had changed her height right in front of the woman's eyes.]
C...can I touch it? Your hair? Or should I call it your fur...?
no subject
What?] ....I suppose?
[She doesn't quite see the appeal here!] Be careful of my eyes though, they are still there.
[Of course, they aren't containing metric tons of psychic force anymore, but it would still hurt! They're not under the ear-like tufts of hair at the top of her head though- they're under the floppy ones at the sides- where normal ears tend to go.]
no subject
[Excitedly, the woman reached her free hand out and placed it over Espurr's head. Surprisingly, it's almost like touching an Espurr's fur from the texture to the softness.]
How fascinating...!
[Growing a bit more curious, she starts stroking her head very gently like she would to any Pokemon. Does Espurr like pettings? Because she sure is getting one.]
no subject
Well either way it Is rather nice to have one's hair gently fluffled like that, she's deciding. Sort of like sitting in a nice breeze, she thinks.
Conversation is also happening though, because this woman is not a gentle breeze, she's a person, and Espurr thinks it would probably be a bit awkward otherwise. Not that she personally minds leaving things awkward, but she should probably not be rude to someone she's just met.] It is a little- where I found myself before had almost no pokemon at all- it was very different from being in Serene Village. This feels more familiar, even if I'm still not my usual shape at least.
no subject
[Her touch is still being gentle, as her hand brushed through Espurr's hair(fur?). She's moving her gaze over to Espurr looking intrigued.]
A place with no Pokemon? That's so strange...I can't imagine being in a place like that. So is the place you're originally from, the Serene Village, close to the sea?
no subject
[And no one seemed to grasp that! Terrible.]
It's located near a river actually; I've seen the sea before, but this is my first time on an island like this. It's very nice~

C
Both the trainer and his Pokemon stopped to watch for a moment in awe.]
Piiiika!
That's so cool! How'd you do that!?
no subject
You'll have to be more specific- I'm doing quite a lot right now you know.
[She probably knows full well what Ash is asking about, but it's in her nature to be at least a little playfully difficult. Oh-]
Oh- I haven't seen any Pikachu for a while, [she comments as she stops.] ...How nostalgic.
no subject
[And he points to the chalk drawings on the ground. But when he notices Espurr pause to comment about his Pikachu, he draws his arm back and looks at her questioningly.]
Huh, are there no Pikachus where you're from?
[When Espurr's attention is now at Pikachu, he gazes back and starts to tilt his head.]
no subject
[And if that didn't confirm she knew the whole time, well!] I have rocks along my body, but I can control them a little too. So I just make sure I have the chalk I want on my feet, and go!
[Skating later though, Pikachu now.] Oh- most Pikachu live closer to Lively Town is all. None of the other pokemon in my village were Electric type. Normal, Grass, and Water were more common- there are exceptions of course, but Serene Village is near a woods after all.
no subject
[Ash immediately observes Espurr from top to bottom, and while he does notice some rock-like features on her, he is... visibly confused.]
Now that you mention it, you kinda look funny.
[Guess who's approaching Espurr just so he could take an even closer look? That's right, this child right here. His curiosity is kicking in and he's piqued. Pikachu meanwhile follows along, and once he's close enough to Espurr, he starts sniffing at her.]
...Pika?
[Pikachu looks up to Espurr, also visibly confused. Why do you smell like wood and chalk???]
no subject
[As if to prove that point, Ash might catch- the fact that she has very goomy/goodra-like horns dangling off the back of her head, and a tail to match held carefully close under the kimono, its end the only thing properly visible from under it.
Espurr isn't really paying attention to how Ash is taking all of that though, instead looking to Pikachu.
(If she could answer, she'd explain it's because of the petrified wood. Golly.)]
Hello Mister Pikachu. I'm sorry I can't understand you right now, but I haven't been able to do that since I became like this.
[It's a little more troubling now that she's actually in a place with other pokemon though.]
no subject
I see! A troll, huh! [Interesting!] ...What's a troll though?
[And while he questions about Espurr, the horns on her head catches his attention next. Being the curious 10-year old he is, he reaches out and starts tugging the longest one he could grab at. Wow, it's like... really smooth and squishy! The kind of squishy a Goodra has!
But before he could say that, Ash picks up on what Espurr said and looks at her.]
Wait, what do you mean by that? Are you saying you weren't a troll before?
[As you can see, the gears in Ash's head are slowly turning. As for Pikachu, he continues to watch Espurr with a puzzled look, but is definitely curious to hear her answer.]
no subject
[What a cheeky non-answer! And-] Oh!
[She gives a bit of a jump at that.] You could ask first if you're going to do that... ...I haven't pulled at your ear, have I?
[At least she doesn't seem hurt? Just a little surprised. She's certainly happy enough to answer the question though!] Not at all. I was an Espurr- I still am in a sense; I'm not going to stop being 'me' even if everything physical has changed. ...I didn't expect to not go back to being myself after leaving that other place though...
no subject
...You can feel that? [He says this and then tugs her horn a few more times.] Sorry, but I thought it's some kind of hairclip or something. This is so weird!
[The way he says "weird" isn't out of disgust, but is more of fascination. Fortunately for Espurr, he stops tugging the moment she admits what she was originally. Both Ash and Pikachu gaze at girl with astonished looks.]
An Espurr!?
Piika!?
But... [You don't look like one. And Ash tilts his head slightly.] ...Huh.
[The young trainer may be at a loss for words right now. Slowly trying to process what he just heard.]
no subject
[Honestly she can't blame him. If their positions were switched, she'd be utterly fascinated by all of this.
Likewise, she'd probably be just as shocked- but since she's the subject here, she instead gets to beam and enjoy the attention.] Yes~
I'd hoped I'd go back to being that once I was back in a world with pokemon, but apparently not. My name of course is Espurr, but humans don't seem to treat names the same way pokemon do.
[What do you mean you're not all just called 'Human'? What a mess.]

we can wrap this up here i think!
B.
"How did you do that?!" she exclaims.
It's still also strange to her that she can talk like people here! Maybe it's a new ability like what this girl can do.
no subject
Espurr takes a moment to look around, her ears- which are notably not the seeming tufts on the top of her head, but apparently the ones at the side- twitching toward the sound. She soon looks down, and stares.
"You mean grow? I just did, of course."
How informative!
...She doesn't seem to find it strange that an eevee is talking.
Mostly it's more normal than one Not.no subject
She has heard of such things, but doesn't have the ability herself.
no subject
Oh, but there's not much use complaining about it, so-
Hold on now. "...Gigantimax?"
