Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.

In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.

Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.

Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

[Sneasler, unlike Ingo, has no idea what all these hand motions mean. While Neil is around the corner, she stares at Ingo in confusion, so he clarifies:]

She is apologizing to you, my lady.

[Though she is temporarily mollified, seeing the Houndour swallow the berry ignites her anger all over again. She snarls, and even though Ingo was going to turn down the offer of help, he reflexively translates anyway, to get Sneasler to calm down.]

Sh-She is going to get you a replacement snack, now!

[He gives Neil an apologetic look as he signs, Thank you.]

[Neil has about a second and a half to appreciate how ready to throw hands this weird, long Sneasel is before Killer decides he also wants to make angry noises and starts growling right back, and as much as Neil is basically always down to fight, this poor man is trying so hard to keep things under control... When Killer entirely ignores Neil trying to fingerspell not now with the hand not attached to the arm keeping him restrained, she dramatically rolls her eyes and digs a Pokéball out of her pocket to call him back into. That's it, time out!!!]

Do we like sweets? Should I get something spicy? What are we in the mood for? [She's bouncing on her toes, ready to sprint off in the direction of snacks at any moment but she's gotta make sure it's the right snack!!]

[Ingo sighs, patiently translating. He gets the feeling if he makes a decision for Sneasler and picks the wrong thing, he's going to be the one Sneasler is mad at next.]

Sweet, spicy, or something else, my lady?

[He helpfully moves his hand through the air to gesture in three different directions as he labels them, so she can easily indicate her option. She takes a moment to think, and then she shoves a claw forward into the "sweet" airspace.]

—Sweet, please!

[primeapeshit]

Sweet! Stay right here! [She's already sprinting off, signing at them as she disappears into the festival crowds. It takes her a dangerously long few minutes to return—by the time she does, she's called out her Mankey for an extra set of hands, and he sits on her shoulder holding two sticks of dango in one hand, and another that he's gleefully munching on in the other. Neil has one stick in each hand, and when she runs back over, she grins and holds one out for Ingo and one out for Sneaseler.]

Oh! You did not have to go so far for me as well.

[Both of them recognize dango from Hisui, and Sneasler looks excited. Ingo takes both sticks, so that he can hold Sneasler's out for her.]

But thank you very much!

[It is only after getting that far in the responses that he realizes he didn't sign along with any of that. AND NOW HE HAS DANGO IN BOTH HANDS!! HOW IS HE GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS ONE?!]
