Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.

In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.

Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.

Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

Outta the way, outta the way, outta the way!!!

[Suddenly out of nowhere it's your rival! Barry!

Whether he's aware of the change in surroundings or not is a mystery. Either way he's blazing through the streets. There's plenty of sounds of surprise from the people on the streets to sounds of amusement.

Unsurprisingly, Barry is still barreling through headed straight for Lucas. What's going to happen next!?]

[Before Lucas could react even further...

THUD!]

Ah! Barry!?

[It's a good thing he's so used to it. He stumbles a bit but manages to keep his footing, like usual.]

Oh! Hey, it's Lucas!

[Immediately Barry's beaming at who he's literally stumbled into.]

What are you doing all the way over-....wait a sec, where are we?

Aha, that's what I'd like to know too. I just got here.

[And if Barry didn't know as well, then that makes two of them.]

Wait, huh? How could you not know? But you're the one who always...

[He trails not quite sure how to continue. Why bother telling Lucas anyway? It wasn't like he'd remember right? Maybe this was some sort of dream?

He's crossing his arms looking thoughtfully.]

Hmmmm, but I can't think of how we'd end up here! I wasn't even that far off from home! Do you even remember where you were?

[Lucas does frown a bit, knowing what Barry was about to say. Sadly he doesn't have all the answers this time.]

Oh, I do! I was just passing by Route 217 since I heard there was a Pokemon outbreak over there.

[As Lucas finishes, he looks around and takes notice of not just the tropical setting, but the crowds of people gathering at some sort of event just up ahead.]

...Say, it looks like something's going on over there.

Oh! So you were working on your Pokedex? How's that coming along?

[At least Barry looks interested in that, until he turned his attention to where the crowd is. Whoa, that sure was a lot of people! But what could it be?]

What are you waiting for Lucas?! Let's go check it out! C'mon!

[Without even waiting on his friend, Barry is already running ahead.]

[Before he could even get a chance to answer, he watches Barry sprint off. Not wanting to be left behind, Lucas starts following behind his friend.]

Hey, wait for me!

[At the port, once the two are close enough to where the crowd is, they might pick up on the excited chatter of girls surrounding what seems to be a stage. There's a large backdrop that has very flashy text written on it. Although it's written in a language he couldn't fully understand, there's text on the bottom that he's able to make out.]

..."Soaring with Tobi Concert Tour, Fan Meet and Greet with Tobi"?

[Putting two and two together, it looks like there's some sort of fan event going on.]

[Barry's looking in awe seeing the large crowd and stage. He couldn't help but be reminded of the Contest Hall back in Sinnoh. Hearing Lucas read off what the event was for his eyes lit up in excitement.]

Wow, a Concert?! So this Tobi person must be some kinda popular musician? Since we're here we should try checking it out, Lucas!

[He'll then shield his eyes while trying to scan through the group of cheering girls. If this was a concert, there had to be a place to buy tickets right?]

[And there goes Barry getting distracted as per usual. Well, it doesn't hurt to check it out.]

Haha, sounds good to me!

[As he watches Barry scan the area, Lucas follows suit and through the crowd he noticed a table where a couple of people are giving away pieces of paper. Are they tickets? Pamphlets? It's hard to tell from this distance.]

How about we ask those people over there?

[Barry's turning his gaze to where Lucas pointed out. Excited he's grabbing Lucas by his hand without a second thought, and making a beeline over to them.]

EXCUSE ME!

[He's blurting out loud, full of energy as usual.]

Is this where we get in line for the concert!?

Woah!

[With his hand being grabbed, Lucas is now being dragged along. The woman behind the table on the other hand smiles at the two boys.]

Oh no, this isn't the concert event. That's going to be in the next few days. This is just an event to promote the concert itself.

[She then hands over the two not tickets or pamphlets, but instead photos of a young man wearing a fancy feathered coat.]

Here you go, lucky Tobiloveds! When the autographing session begins, please be mindful and keep a straight line before meeting Tobi. Enjoy the show!

Huh...

[Barry gazed down at the pamphlet and photo the woman at the table handed them. He stared at the young man whose outfit made him think of contests from back home.]

This wasn't what I was expecting one bit...what do you think Lucas? Should we get in line?

[He'll ask while looking at the pamphlet curiously. He stared, realizing it was written in a language he didn't recognize, along with words he could actually read. How strange...was this some kind of dream he's in right now?]

Hmm...

[Should they? As he looks at the crowd, Lucas notices there's a... surprising amount of girls participating in the event. Are they all fans? What kind of celebrity is Tobi to have this many people crowd around just to see him?

But before Lucas could say anything, a voice could be heard booming behind the stage.]

ULSAAAAI~! ♥ Welcome to the Fan Meet and Greet! Hope we didn't keep you waiting for too long, Tobiloveds! Because the man of the hour has just arrived! Give it up everyone for the star of the show, soaring, gliding, and flying high, iiiit's TOBI!

[And without warning, the crowd erupts into loud screaming and cheering.

...Lucas suddenly feels a heavy weight in the air as he covers his ears.]

[The screams of girls caught Barry off guard. He was a little too late in covering his own ears while trying to make sense of the situation. He's inching closer to Lucas, and while keeping one hand over his ear made a grab for Lucas' hand with another.

Okay. Alright. His mind is made.
