Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.

In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.

Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.

Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

[Gyahaha! Hisui my ass! From prison! Geez, you forgot too . . . Toxicroak, even as boisterous as she ever is, is a little disappointed. She gives Saturn a significant look up that tells him all he needs to know: no, Lady Sneasler doesn't remember. Hmm. Something to consider.

He pats Toxicroak's head and nods:]

I assume that's something like the Battle Tower we have. You must both be very skilled trainers to pull that off. My name is Saturn, the head of Team Galactic, in Sinnoh. . . . As for Sneasler, you're right that's it's a largely unknown Pokemon in the modern day. I only happen to have once had a friend who was very educated in the subject.

[derailer]

[Sneasler cries, choosing to interpret this as an insult. Who would dare put me in prison?! You're thinking of some other Sneasler!

She isn't anywhere close to attacking, but Ingo senses her irritation anyway, and acts preemptively to reach a hand up to rest on her arm, urging her to stay back.]

Is that so? I admit I am very curious to get in touch with such a person. Now is—not the best time. But if I could have contact information for later, I would appreciate it.

[Saturn keeps his hand heavily on Toxicroak; he can't understand them, of course, but he remembers what happened last time they got into it. Toxicroak seems bummed, though, sulking rather than kicking up a fuss.]

Ah . . . I'm sorry. We've since lost touch. Though if you're partners with one, I doubt he would know anything you don't. You two seem to have a connection.

[derailer]

Mmmm...

[He looks up at Sneasler, wondering how much to say. He decides to be honest, and immediately most of his anxious energy falls away. He looks back at Saturn with a more confident face.]

We do. Though the circumstances of our meeting and our reunion were both unusual, I am beginning to believe they are more common than one might think.

Truth be told, we have arrived here very suddenly. I have no idea where this place is.

It's the same for me. Which might be obvious from the way I'm dressed . . . I imagine it must be. I know only a very little, from a local earlier. I could pass it on if you like. . . . And besides that, I've lived through some rather unusual circumstances myself, and I'm curious about yours.

[Some of them he knows already. Of course Saturn's sure of some of the details, because he's heard them before. But he doesn't know all of them: how did Ingo end up reunited with Emmet, but with Lady Sneasler as well, and without any memories of prison? That part is a mystery, and he wants to know the answer to it.

But it's Ingo. Even if there were no mystery to be heard here, Saturn would want to spend time with him.]

A local? I have not yet spoken to one. I would appreciate this information, yes! And then we may discuss the rest... perhaps not in the middle of pedestrian traffic.

Ha. Yes. We could go sit somewhere, or meet up later, as you like. I'd be very interested in discussing all of this . . . there are surely places to socialize in town.

We have not yet determined where we are going to stay, and I am not sure we are even getting proper cell reception. Meeting up later would be a difficult thing to plan for. Now should be fine.

I don't know yet where I'm going to be staying, either. There must be accommodations for us, though, considering that I've heard this kind of thing happens quite frequently in this region . . . anyway. That's some of what I know right there. I can fill you in on the rest if you'd like to take a walk, perhaps.

Yes... of course.

[Ingo glances over his shoulder at his companions, of course. But he doesn't see why they would refuse an opportunity for information. For their own good, he feels all right agreeing for all of them, even if they are stuck trailing behind and listening in.]

It is concerning to hear that it happens with such frequency, although it is convenient if there are accommodations for it.

[They can go for a walk together and get out of the way of the public a little, especially because Saturn is talking about the public in question right now, and even if all he's doing is sharing public knowledge, he still cringes away from doing it quite like that. Privacy is privacy. He nods them all along off another path, less busy, towards the waterfront.]

I'm concerned myself. I don't like hearing that this happens often, because that implies that they've had plenty of time and incentive to come up with a solution, and haven't yet. And the locals confirmed as much to me.

Forgive me for the sudden question. But does anyone know if the travel is only through space? Or could it possibly be through time as well?

[Though everything here looks pretty contemporary.]

I didn't think to ask . . . honestly, I just assumed it might be through time as well. Only because I have some experience myself with this type of phenomenon, and it always has been in the past that I've known of.
