Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.
In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.
Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.
Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

dragon-shaped!
Giant, disembodied red eyes, glowing with malice, were kind of a familiar sight when you raised a Ghost type fond of illusions, especially one with the move Hex. Still, this did feel like a different scale than Frillish…]
… did you bring us here?
[He was still theorizing he had been spirited away somehow

"Us," is it? So then, this child was whisked to the island as well? How interesting... but actually, how confusing. Giratina didn't bring either of them there, but if this random boy got scooped up as well, maybe this whole dimension trap thing wasn't a targeted attack on Tina specifically? Frankly he's not sure if that's more or less embarrassing. How cringe, for a Pokemon of his station to get trapped on an island....
Anyway, enough of just staring. Giratina turns his head away with a soft huff. It's as clear a "no" as he can manage.]

An inky black void with gleaming eyes a cat might be, but they don’t usually drip antimatter!Trip takes a few steps back, not keen to find out what might happen if any of that falls on him.
Seeing even half of Giratina’s size and height is enough to shock and awe the boy! He wasn’t expecting to be in the presence of some sort of Legendary Pokemon…!
And what a wing span! What an incredible, majestic, terrifying sight…!
Time now felt as if it crawled to nearly a halt, everything moved so slowly, he even forgot his question entirely. What was Giratina turning away for…? He couldn’t remember.]

There's a long pause as Tina stares and waits for Trip's next question, but then when it doesn't come, the dragon.... Uh, goes back to his shadow hole??? It's about as creepy going back in as it is emerging. Great job, Tina.
One of his shadowy tentacles does slither out from the dark, though. Its single red spike taps impatiently at the ground near Trip's feet. Continue, child!]
[… sorry!]
Although extending one tentacle to tap at his feet might have been Giratina’s attempt at prodding him to continue, seeing only part of something can send the imagination reeling, so…
In a move that would probably both serve Giratina’s ego and frustrate it to no end, the boy proceeds to faint.]
LMFAO RIP
A Ghost-type he might be, Giratina is not really looking to expand the ranks of his subjects right now. As Trip wobbles on the spot another tentacle shoots out to catch him, easing the poor guy to the sand. (And then after a moment's pause into the shade of the palm tree.) No head trauma today, no sir!
By the time Trip comes back around, the monster is long gone. There's a Totally Unrelated Very Human Man sitting next to him though. Clearly a concerned passersby.]
...The sun is quite hot when one is unused to it, isn't it.
[Nailed it (TM)]
[Giratina got stuck with a real handful, sorry, at least he’s calm now]
[Really, sunstroke? Was that why he saw such nightmarish visions? He raised his hand to rub at his forehead and felt embarrassed to be lying around in public. Even though he still felt faint, he gathered himself up, at least enough to sit (he wasn’t quite sure on his feet yet) and gave as polite a half-bow of gratitude to the man as he could manage without standing.
His eyes are very beautiful, he notes to himself, a bit like Frillish’s. His mind is still a bit too jumbled to recall humans do not, generally, have black sclera and that they shouldn’t remind one of Ghost types.
The fleur-de-lys pattern is also familiar! He looks so much like his Pokemon.]
Thank you… sorry for troubling you.
[There should be water in his backpack. Not wanting to rely on someone else anymore than he must, he tries to reach back without removing it (and fails to unzip it). Maybe he could slide down out of the single strap back. He’d look ridiculous, but he’a very proud, and his need to be independent and his need to not make a fool of himself are at odds right now.]

Please pay it no mind.
[Not having much experience with zippers or bags himself, Giratina pays zero attention to Trip's struggles on that front and instead gazes down the street. If Trip decided to slip'n'slide out of his own backpack, Tina may not even blink.]
Do you still feel faint? Perhaps you should rest.

Trip appreciates Giratina not looking at him, because that is exactly what he does, until he manages to get his water bottle. He stops short of drinking a third of the bottle, although he was still thirsty.]
Maybe... but I have to hurry up and get back home before I start eating leaves... or get eaten...
[... okay, definitely not all right yet.]

[Even as he says that Tina knows it's totally his fault this is the conversation at hand. Operation: Continue Lying]

[Like under this tree, he quickly realized with worry, and quickly rose to his feet, even if he felt unsteady.]
... but, I saw something, earlier before... maybe I imagined it, maybe it was the heat, but... [He turned away, feeling embarrassed even suggesting these things, but it was a very serious theory he had about this place!]
I think this is all some sort of illusion.
[He hasn't caught on to Giratina, but Giratina's free to think he has!]
