Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.

In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.

Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.

Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

"Great idea!" Barry beamed as he heads straight for the Pokemon Center full of energy. Once inside there were plenty of trainers he didn't recognize, but it seemed the counter where the Pokemon Center Nurse stood was free.

Barry turning to Evie smiled.

"Looks like we're in luck! The nurse seems to be free, we can ask her if she's seen anyone who looks like your friend!"

"Yeah!" Evie hopped up on the counter. "Have you seen my friend Radley?! He has black hair and green eyes! Only ... I haven't seen him since he was 11 and he's older now...."

Completely innocent and sweet, she thought nothing of talking like a person without explaining. Not that she could explain much.

When Evie hopped onto the counter, the pink haired Nurse smiled sweetly. She even bent down to be at eye level only for her smile to drop the moment Evie spoke to her in a very human language. She was clearly stunned silent.

In fact, by the time Barry bounded over in time to see the exchange. He bit his lower lip while mentally considering just how his friends would handle this situation. Clearly, they would step in and take charge, right?

...right!

Making his way over Barry beamed.

"Isn't it cool!? Evie here knows how to talk like we do! She's a really special Eevee!" He turned over to Evie and beamed. "Just like how your friend Radley is very special to you, am I right?"

"Yeah!" Evie wagged her tail. "I love talking! And Radley!"

Several people were turning to look now.

"Say Evie, tell the nurse how Radley looked like, like you did with me." Barry turned over to her with a grin. "Maybe she'll be able to help us out with a description!"

The nurse who seemed flustered still gave a polite smile in return.

"That's true, please tell me about your friend a little more sweetie." The nurse encouraged.

"He has black hair with a piece hanging in his face," Evie says. "His eyes are such a pretty deep green! He's so nice and gentle! But ... I haven't seen him since he was 11. He's older now...."

The Nurse wore a frown when Evie began to explain about her friend. Whoever this Radley was, it wasn't ringing a bell with her. She glanced over to Barry who caught her eye, and he too shook his head.

"Well, I'll happily keep a look out for your friend. If I see him, I'll let him know that you were looking for him." The Nurse gave a warm smile to Evie.

"Wow, thanks a bunch!" Barry cheered.

"In the mean time, why don't you two enjoy the Festival that's going on outside? There's plenty of things to do, and there's a lot of food as well." The Nurse encouraged, not wanting to see either of them discouraged during their search for Evie's trainer.

"Yes, thank you!" Evie gushed. "The Festival looks so fun! We should go!" She hopped down.
