Suddenly in the midst of a Summer Festival--

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby.

In the coastal city of Turnbloom the sun is bright and warm, and the scent of the sea wafts through with the cool gentle breeze that makes the glittering pinwheels spin, and the leaves on the palm tree dance.

Today the streets are extra decorated with these cute, colorful and floral shaped pinwheels. It seemed the people who were out in the streets were dressed in colorful summer attire--either casual, or the more traditional yukata. It seemed like with the booths were set out for both food and games for festival of some kind that was currently underway.

Just how did you get here, and why? A mystery, and it seemed the people in the streets didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary as they go about enjoying their time out on this bright sunny day.

[Trip was too exhausted to go dancing a second time and anyway, that was enough socializing for one day… but, with a mixture of excitement and mortification, he recognized another face from home!]

Do you remember anything about how you arrived here? What have you learned about this place so far?

We could pool together what we know.

I'm not sure. I just remember getting an invite to this place and hearing that a lot of trainers would be here, so here I am.

Have you found anything interesting to do here yet?

Huh... I don't remember getting anything like that.

[Were there different routes to this place?]

... well, there's a festival going on, so there's food and our money's good here, so, if you're hungry...

[Never mind that he was too scared to eat or drink anything he didn't bring with him for the longest time here! After a quick conspiratory glance around, he leaned close, dropping his voice to a whisper.]
