EVENT: Snoring Snorlax!
Turnbloom City is quite a nice place with friendly faces and areas to explore but isn’t it about time to go beyond the city limits? Unfortunately–...

It looks like the exits are blocked by not one but many Snorlax! It seems no one can go in or out of Turnbloom. This is a serious issue as Snorlax are known for their hibernating nature. There’s no way people can get any deliveries in or out of the city either.
What is there to do?
Maybe…there’s a way to make these groups of Snorlax to move? Time to investigate!

NEWS REPORT
He however doesn't bat an eye as he began his report.
"Good morning Turnbloom. As many of you may be aware by now, there seems to be an mass outbreak of Snorlax who have taken it upon themselves to take a nap around the town. There has been reports that paths leading outside the city has been blocked. However efforts are currently underway in attempt to get the Snorlax to move."
There's a pause as he shuffles through his papers followed by a sigh. He gives a slight glance behind him, and then back to the camera.
"I am currently stuck within my home as you can see my Snorlax, Loafy is blocking my way out. Unsurprisingly there has been cancellations due to these complicated matters of this Snorlax outbreak.
In other news, today's weather-..."

NOOOOOOOOO Snorlax won't buuuudge!!! how am a supposed to go see my friends?💔🥺
Inside the Pokemon Center
When he reaches the front door, however, he finds a Snorlax parked right outside it, in deep sleep, inexplicably wearing a nurse's outfit. He blinks, and sighs. It's one of those days.
"Guess we're stuck, huh?" he says to the nearest person stuck inside with him.
Re: Inside the Pokemon Center
Yes, she speaks like a human, in a cute little girl's voice.

"Yeah, I know how you feel. I've got somebody I wanna find too... Even if he's probably still back in Johto." Gold sighs as well. He misses Silver. He was hoping to find some clues about a way back home today, but then the world said 'Snorlax'.

"You are? Maybe he came here too! I'm still hoping Radley did ... even though it doesn't seem like it...."

Near the Rainbow Plaza entrance
Right in front of that Snorlax, on an elevated platform that was most definitely not present the previous day stood Lear. A good sized crowd of onlookers surrounded him out of curiosity as he held out a megaphone in hand. Raising it up to his mouth, Lear's announcement began.]
ATTENTION! Ash of Pallet Town, if you are here that is, come collect your Snorlax this instant!
[There's a soft murmuring from the crowd, as their eyes were now back towards the Snorlax that lightly scratched his stomach in his sleep.]
You best hurry as your Snorlax is obstructing this facility's entrance!
no subject
...Huh? A Snorlax?
[That really catches his attention. Whatever plans he has for today is put on hold as he decides to follow the source of the voice. Soon enough he arrives to find a familiar face standing on a platform.]
...Lear? You're here too?
no subject
It's about time that you showed up.
[He's placing one hand onto his hip while looking down at the younger trainer (also literal). He seemed no different from when Lear had last seen Ash back in Pasio.]
Now that you're here, hurry up and do something about that Snorlax this instant!

...But it's only when Ash took a close look when he notices something familiar about this particular Snorlax.]
Wait a second... is that...
2/2
Snorlax!?
[He looks at his Pokemon with his mouth agape, then he turns to look at the crowd behind him and the realization quickly hits Ash. Immediately, he and his Pikachu both sprint towards Snorlax's side and attempt to get Sleeping Pokemon to budge.]
Snorlax! C'mon buddy, wake up! You're blocking the way right now!
no subject
Lear watched Ash's poor attempt to move Snorlax before shaking his head.]
What? Don't tell me you don't know nothing can wake a Snorlax with any normal means.
[Stepping off from the platform he'll make his way right up to Ash.]
Besides that, don't you have a Pokeball for that Snorlax of yours? Unless...you went out of your way to befriend a wild one?
no subject
Lear's right however, as experience as shown him, a Snorlax won't wake up really easily. He steps back and frowns whilst trying to figure out how to get it to move.]
Mmm, maybe some food would help. It gets really energetic once it smells food nearby.
[Ash then glances at Lear and shakes his head.]
Nope, I left Snorlax's Pokeball at Professor Oak's. I didn't bring it along with me in the first place.

At the Beach
Of course when she woke up and tried to go up the street to the rest of the city she instead found a certain familiar giant pain of a species blocking the route. And upon sending her Xatu to go and look around, it seems even if she managed to escape her location roads into the city and even some of the buildings are all blocked up. She sighs and rests her hand against the girth of the beast as she thinks over a plan.
"I could just fly in, but I can't just leave these big guys sitting around and causing people trouble...how many pokeballs do I have."
The Catcher starts searching in her bag, because obviously that is the first thing she thinks of.

On the opposite spectrum Barry has absolutely 0 plans, as he was trying to push Snorlax out of the way. Unfortunately the tubby Pokemon made no visibly movement as it comfortably slept, and snored. He began to huff and pull away while stomping his feet on the sandy ground.
"Why are there so many Snorlax here?!"
The Snorlax merely yawns in its sleep before over to lay on it's stomach, causing the ground to rumble a little. Immediately Barry loses his foot and falling onto onto the beach sand. Barry's head hangs as a deep sigh left him.
"What's this about..."
no subject
"Hey, are you okay. You need to be careful when approaching these big guys."
no subject
"Augh!! That's it!" He has his Pokeball out, just about ready to throw until it registers in his mind that someone was talking to him. Stopping he turned to Crystal before making a face. "Yeah, I know that but this is ridiculous! I've got places to go! Things to do!"
Like explore the rest of this weird place that clearly wasn't Sinnoh. He turned his attention back to the Snorlax who was now sleepily scratching its back in its sleep.
A sigh left as Barry slumped his shoulders.
"Why is there more than one of them sleeping around here?"
no subject
Crystal comes up next to Barry, while her Xatu floats over and lands beside the two trainers. The girl gives a once over to this particular Snorlax, wondering if it had any sort of identifying marks before she ended up having to accidentally catch someone else's Pokemon.
"Let's try to catch it and see how it goes."

By a City Exit
Excuse me! Hello there! ...Er, sorry, or should I say, "Ulsai!" I must apologize to disturb your well-earned rest, Mr. Snorlax, but I have an earnest request to make of you. I humbly ask that you rise for just a few moments and seek out a different napping spot, preferably in an area devoid of others.
You see, you happen to be resting directly in front of an exit from this fine city. This is a critical area for foot traffic as people come and go from this place! I don't blame you for this, of course. Even someone as diligent as the great Looker has been known to sometimes catch a nap somewhere where he should not! Nor should you be in danger. I believe most traffic laws have exemptions that protect Snorlax from being persecuted for incidents such as this one. Still, I would like to implore you, as a fellow living creature, to consider my request and comply with it at your earliest convenience! Thank you for your time.
[The Snorlax just lays there, exactly the same as when Looker arrived. It does not appear to have stirred or heard a single word.]
no subject
Boy, it sure brings back memories. He's smiling to himself but the smile dropped when taking notice of Looker. Oh? What's this? Was this his Snorlax?
Curious, Red approached closer until he was standing right next to Looker to stare at the older man.
Hello, good day is this your Pokemon? Would be something a normal person would be asking out loud but instead, Red was just silently pointing at Snorlax with a puzzled look on his face.]
no subject
Hello there, young man! [He sees him point towards the Snorlax.]
Ah, I see now what you're getting at. A young mind is teeming with curiousity, and yours is no exception. Your mind must be teeming with questions regarding that Snorlax and this present situation. So much that you cannot form a single word on this moment!
[He raises a finger sharply.]
We worry not, my young friend! For I happen to be a curious sort myself, and I know everything you need to know. And I will tell you right away, without wasting a single moment. You see, that is a Snorlax. Currently, it is napping in front of this city's exit. In fact, you just missed a stirring speech by yours truly, as I passionately implored this Pokémon to seek out an alternate napping spot! The Snorlax has yet to respond.
[A beat.]
That happens to be all that I know of this matter!
no subject
It definitely was a sleeping Pokemon. Was it a wild one? Red's glancing around trying to find any signs of a trainer, but aside from himself and Looker there seemed to be no one else at the moment.
Pulling away and crossing his arms Red frowned. This sure was a dilemma-]
...oh!
[Red will turn his bag around as he unzipped it. For a surprisingly small bag it was jammed packed with a lot of items. In fact how did a bike fit in there?]
no subject
Hold that pose you two!
[Despite saying that to them, Todd here is pointing his camera directly at the Snorlax.]
That's right, what a great shot!
