EVENT: Snoring Snorlax!
Turnbloom City is quite a nice place with friendly faces and areas to explore but isn’t it about time to go beyond the city limits? Unfortunately–...

It looks like the exits are blocked by not one but many Snorlax! It seems no one can go in or out of Turnbloom. This is a serious issue as Snorlax are known for their hibernating nature. There’s no way people can get any deliveries in or out of the city either.
What is there to do?
Maybe…there’s a way to make these groups of Snorlax to move? Time to investigate!

He paused before another thought hit him.
"Wait a sec...there was a festival last night. Do you think they might have been attracted by all the food?" He's now turning his focus to the Snorlax as well before turning to Crystal. At her mention of catching the Snorlax Barry hesitated.
He knew what it was like raising a Snorlax having done it time, and time again. While this Snorlax wasn't the one he always met, he couldn't help but feel fond of it. He turned to the sleeping Pokemon until a thought hit him.
"Wait, what if we try and wake it up first? Maybe it'll move out of the way for us then!"

"Unless you have a Pokeflute in your backpack I don't think we're waking it up. Not to mention the first thing Snorlax do if you interrupt them is attack. It's better to try and catch it now while it's still sleeping."
Regardless of any hesitation about this belonging to someone else, Crystal's decided the best course of action is to get right to the heart of the matter and puts a Pokeball on the ground and starts stretching.

But he also didn't want to put anyone in danger either, and his Pokemon team at the moment weren't strong enough to deal with a Snorlax that most likely was a higher level than any of them combined.
Deciding to step aside, he'll turn and watch Crystal curiously. Why did she place her Pokeball on the ground and not throw it?
"Say, why don't you just throw your Pokeball already? C'mon it'll be quick to just do this!" Barry shoved his hand into his bag to pull out a Pokeball just to toss it right at the Snorlax which only managed to bounce off it's stomach, and bonk Barry on his head. "Ow! What was that for!?"

"When it comes to Pokemon like this you gotta catch em by-"
The girls winds her foot back and then kicks forward with all the intensity of a soccer striker, sending her Pokeball whizzing at top speed into the Snorlax.
"SURPRISE!"
With the intense impact the big boy even rumbles a bit before the light of the snare engulfs it, initiating the shaking phase as the Pokeball hits the ground.

"That's amazing! How'd you learn how to do something like that?!" Barry shot a glance over to Crystal. It was clear from his wide and sparkling eyes that he was inspired by Crystal's skills. "Do you think you could catch that other Snorlax blocking the way too?"

Crystal makes her way over to the ball as it stops shaking and the Snorlax is caught with the all too familiar click sound effect. She takes the plastametal object and peers inside at the Snorlax, then turning her attention to Barry.
"I don't have too many left on my person, but if I have to catch every Snorlax in town I'll do it!"
