EVENT: Snoring Snorlax!
Turnbloom City is quite a nice place with friendly faces and areas to explore but isn’t it about time to go beyond the city limits? Unfortunately–...

It looks like the exits are blocked by not one but many Snorlax! It seems no one can go in or out of Turnbloom. This is a serious issue as Snorlax are known for their hibernating nature. There’s no way people can get any deliveries in or out of the city either.
What is there to do?
Maybe…there’s a way to make these groups of Snorlax to move? Time to investigate!

(🌺Please don't forget to check out the OOC event post!🌺)
Near the Rainbow Plaza entrance
Right in front of that Snorlax, on an elevated platform that was most definitely not present the previous day stood Lear. A good sized crowd of onlookers surrounded him out of curiosity as he held out a megaphone in hand. Raising it up to his mouth, Lear's announcement began.]
ATTENTION! Ash of Pallet Town, if you are here that is, come collect your Snorlax this instant!
[There's a soft murmuring from the crowd, as their eyes were now back towards the Snorlax that lightly scratched his stomach in his sleep.]
You best hurry as your Snorlax is obstructing this facility's entrance!
no subject
...Huh? A Snorlax?
[That really catches his attention. Whatever plans he has for today is put on hold as he decides to follow the source of the voice. Soon enough he arrives to find a familiar face standing on a platform.]
...Lear? You're here too?
no subject
It's about time that you showed up.
[He's placing one hand onto his hip while looking down at the younger trainer (also literal). He seemed no different from when Lear had last seen Ash back in Pasio.]
Now that you're here, hurry up and do something about that Snorlax this instant!
1/2
...But it's only when Ash took a close look when he notices something familiar about this particular Snorlax.]
Wait a second... is that...
2/2
Snorlax!?
[He looks at his Pokemon with his mouth agape, then he turns to look at the crowd behind him and the realization quickly hits Ash. Immediately, he and his Pikachu both sprint towards Snorlax's side and attempt to get Sleeping Pokemon to budge.]
Snorlax! C'mon buddy, wake up! You're blocking the way right now!
no subject
Lear watched Ash's poor attempt to move Snorlax before shaking his head.]
What? Don't tell me you don't know nothing can wake a Snorlax with any normal means.
[Stepping off from the platform he'll make his way right up to Ash.]
Besides that, don't you have a Pokeball for that Snorlax of yours? Unless...you went out of your way to befriend a wild one?
no subject
Lear's right however, as experience as shown him, a Snorlax won't wake up really easily. He steps back and frowns whilst trying to figure out how to get it to move.]
Mmm, maybe some food would help. It gets really energetic once it smells food nearby.
[Ash then glances at Lear and shakes his head.]
Nope, I left Snorlax's Pokeball at Professor Oak's. I didn't bring it along with me in the first place.
no subject
Hmm...so we aren't the only ones to be drifted here....
[He's mumbling to himself. Returning his attention to Ash, there's a frown on his lips.]
That would only be a temporary solution, wouldn't it? A Snorlax can't exactly fit inside of all the buildings around this city. There's no telling how things are beyond that.
no subject
We can worry about that later, Lear! Right now, Snorlax needs to wake up and move!
[Ash looks around, trying to figure out what could get his Pokemon moving. Is he looking panicked? A little, but that's only because he's well aware he's causing trouble for the people right now.]
no subject
A sigh escaped him, not particularly being a fan of having to deal with a worried Ash.]
Hahaha! It's fitting that you have no solution at hand!
[He will then dramatically gesture to the platform that was still set out.]
Hoopa, make it rain with doughnuts!
[There's a sound of puzzlement and surprise from the crowd when Hoopa's ring formed above the platform as piles of sugar doughnuts landed onto the platform. He then turned to Ash giving an expectant look from the young trainer.]
Well? What are you waiting for? It is your Snorlax isn't it?
1/2
2/2
Thanks Lear! You too, Hoopa! You're both amazing!
[Now with Snorlax's meal at the ready, Ash grabs a piece of doughnut and approaches his Sleeping Pokemon in his attempt to awaken it. Once he's close enough, he reaches towards Snorlax's head and waves the doughnut in hopes of it catching the sweet scent of a freshly baked sugar doughnut.]
C'mon Snorlax, there's some doughnuts for you if you wake up and move over!
no subject
Said Snorlax began to take a whiff of the doughnut in his sleep. His mouth opens wide first until Ash's voice registers into his sleepy ears. Slowly raising into a sitting position Snorlax glanced around from the people around them, to Ash, and then to the doughnut in Ash's hand.
Immediately Snorlax threw it's arms up and let out a loud roar.]
Snooooooooor!
[In an instant, Snorlax rose up to his feet before making a dive for his trainer. Lear at the sight reeled back, not having expected that from Snorlax.]

But alas, before Ash could even begin to sprint, he was immediately crushed by the weight of Snorlax's body.]
Augh...
[At least for Pikachu he was quick enough to get away from that. However he immediately returns to Ash's side after Snorlax lands onto the young trainer.]
Pikapi...!
no subject
Get off this instance! What are you trying to do, crush your trainer!?
[Snorlax however seemed to pay no mind to Lear before raising back up, but this time lifting Ash up with ease into one of his arms. Lear is watching in clear shock as Snorlax's sight was now on the stack of doughnuts that had been left out.
A Snorlax on a mission was immediately stomping towards the doughnuts, not caring who or what was in the way, one of them being: Lear.]
Ack! No, no, no-!
[He's reeling at the thought of getting trampled until Hoopa quickly tugged Lear out of Snorlax's way.]
no subject
Snorlax, stop! You're gonna hit Lear!
[He starts gesturing Snorlax to stop running, hoping the Pokemon listens to his commands.]
no subject
Lear is still stunned at how fast Snorlax was moving even as his partner Pokemon appeared in front of him, clearly upset at Snorlax.]
Hoopa, hoopa!
[Hoopa began to fuss.]
no subject
I bet you're hungry right now, huh? [Ash pats on Snorlax.] Alright!
[He then points at the doughnut pile.]
Okay Snorlax, go get those doughnuts! Full steam ahead!
no subject
[Ash's Snorlax let out a happy roar as it bolted for the pile of doughnuts. It's practically shoving any, and all doughnuts the moment they were within his reach. Lear made a face, as he cringed at the sight of the Snorlax shoveling food down.]
Eugh...like trainer, like Pokemon.
[In an instant the huge pile of doughnuts were gone as if they were never there to begin with. Satisfied, Snorlax gave a yawn. Lear realizing where this was going immediately spoke up.]
Wait a minute, you don't seriously intend to sleep here do you?!
no subject
Ah...
[Is all he could say, as he sure as heck knows Snorlax won't be waking up until... well... it feels like eating again.]
...At least the road's wide enough for people to pass through!
[LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE LEAR!!]

[Lear's giving a pointed look to the younger trainer.
Snorlax? Snorlax meanwhile is getting comfortable up on the platform. Why is it there?? Ooh it's so comfy, nyam nyam. So sleepy. Zzzz]
1/2
Hmm, good question.
[Now that his Snorlax is here, how will Ash carry it around? He already has six Pokemon with him, and Snorlax's Pokeball is back at Oak's lab. That sure is a problem.]
