Mingle Post
[If you're listening to the radio today, there's a special announcement in the middle of the afternoon, after Ken's usual program has ended.]
-We interrupt this program for some special news! In Ohritori Island, a large swarm of Cutiefly have appeared in Route 2, near the Berry Farm! It seems they've drifted in from Alola. We ask any trainers to help with managing the swarm. A Cutiefly's natural habitat is in the Wildflower Cape, in Route 4, so we'd appreciate the help in relocating them there! So if you catch a lot of Cutiefly, please release them in Route 4 instead of anywhere else! I'd love to be there and do that myself, but I'm all the way at Chura Islands...
[Ken goes on to describe Cutiefly, it's habits and habitats. But maybe you're not listening to the radio, and doing something else instead?]
[[ooc: This is a mingle post, so I probably won't be replying much myself! If you've got anything you've been thinking about having your characters doing, but don't want to make a whole post about it, this is for you! Or you can go play around with Cutiefly. Maybe you'll encounter a shiny? The chances of meeting them are higher during swarms after all!]]

Garchomp let out a low, happy rumbling sound as Iris' Gible appeared in his mind's eye. He'd met Master Volo while he was as small as that, both of them sneaking around the broken pillars of the Celestica Ruins, a dance that had ended in a battle. Garchomp hadn't realised, then, that humans had developed ways to catch Pokémon.
〘 I would bite a lot. Thought it was unnatural for a dragon to be travelling with a human. If I bit enough, I thought, the human might change his mind. But instead he helped me to be stronger. Your Gible will be stronger, too. 〙
Garchomp almost seemed to laugh; even Volo noticed it. He sometimes did that while they were playing, so Volo knew it was something positive, even if he wasn't sure what had prompted it. He just glanced from Garchomp to Iris with a curious smile.
〘 Rare for anyone to have Pokémon as partners, where we come from. Small, easy Pokémon? Maybe. If necessary for protection. But never dragons. Master Volo is strange. But very bad at hunting! I hunted for him. Made sure he had food to cook. Since we arrived here, he has learned to find all kinds of food for himself. I think this world is different. No need to hunt here. Is that right, or do your dragons still hunt? 〙

Iris listened to Garchomp's words, fascinated.
"Your Volo must be a very unique and kind, patient person!" Iris deduced.
"Most people do not need to hunt. They either don't eat meat or get meat already slaughtered and prepared by someone else... Wild Pokemon hunt, but we trainers can provide for our Pokemon too, so it's not necessary, but a good skill to have, just in case. I can catch fish with my own hands! I'm quite good at it. My village was near a river, after all! I think the tribes that travel on foot more need to hunt on land, but we relied on the river and forest, so we didn't travel around... but those are our traditions."
