[If you're listening to the radio today, there's a special announcement in the middle of the afternoon, after Ken's usual program has ended.]
-We interrupt this program for some special news! In Ohritori Island, a large swarm of Cutiefly have appeared in Route 2, near the Berry Farm! It seems they've drifted in from Alola. We ask any trainers to help with managing the swarm. A Cutiefly's natural habitat is in the Wildflower Cape, in Route 4, so we'd appreciate the help in relocating them there! So if you catch a lot of Cutiefly, please release them in Route 4 instead of anywhere else! I'd love to be there and do that myself, but I'm all the way at Chura Islands...
[Ken goes on to describe Cutiefly, it's habits and habitats. But maybe you're not listening to the radio, and doing something else instead?]

If you've got anything you've been thinking about having your characters doing, but don't want to make a whole post about it, this is for you! Or you can go play around with Cutiefly. Maybe you'll encounter a shiny? The chances of meeting them are higher during swarms after all!]]

But, when she checked the net to make sure the Cutiefly was still there, she smiled again.]
Uh-huh.
[She smiled up at Gold.]
Do you want to catch it? I don't have any pokeballs...
[better late than never! :D]
Yeah, I got some extra Pokeballs! The weird ones you can't see through.
[He grabs one to show Ai, even though she's probably more used to these kinds of Pokeballs.
Meanwhile, the Pokeballs on Gold's waist are making small noises, as Gold's Pokemon greet the Cutiefly and tell it Gold's just going to bring it to a flowerfield, no need to panic or get tangled in the net!]
[true, true!!]
[Ai looked at the pokeballs clipped at Gold's waist.]
... I think yours are the only transparent ones I've seen!
[The Cutiefly, wary and beating its wings every now and then, stopped struggling at hearing their explanations, although it still looked a bit wary.]
{But why catch me in this? I feel like I'm about to be eaten! Why couldn't you tell me that from the start? I want to be able to move my wings! I can follow, if it's safe, but how can I trust you when I'm caught?}
[It didn't seem to understand Ai's explanation earlier! It didn't seem to understand human language very well yet...]

[Glancing at his Pokeballs as well, Gold notices they seem to be talking to Cutiefly, so he doesn't catch it yet, just keeping his Pokeball out.]
Looks like they're talking... [He points out to Ai to explain.]
(It's not like we had time to explain, with you flitting all around!) [Nerica the Togetic scoffs.]
(It's a long way to the flower fields, so if you follow after us, you might get lost...) [Elena the Furret explains gently.] (And Ai - the smaller human, that one there - was hoping to gather several Cutiefly to bring along, but having so many of you following us for such a long journey might lead to some of you getting lost along the way... I'm sorry if it's scary, but really, it's the safest way!)

[Ai leaned in close, listening, but when she noticed Cutiefly's frightened wing beats, moved away and held the net closer to Gold's pokeballs. She stepped back as far as she could, so the Pokemon would have space to talk. Cutiefly seemed to calm at that.]
{She does seem... well, not like a bad person. But trusting you all is difficult...}
[Some other Cutiefly are hearing the conversation and become curious about Elena's words, but stay a good distance away in their hovering, hoping not to be seen or caught just yet.]

[It's second nature by now for Gold to ask Umbar when he wants to know what a Pokemon is saying. The Lugia replies from his Lure Ball, a tinny voice speaking in human language.]
Elena is explaining what you're going to do. The Cutiefly is scared of being caught, and doesn't trust you. Perhaps we should consider whether there's any way to safely bring them to Route 4 without catching them in Pokeballs? For example, I could walk and carry them on my palms. [There's a jovial tone to Umbar's voice when he says the last sentence.]
[Elena, meanwhile, continues talking to the Cutiefly, used to tuning Umbar's translations out.]
(Oh, dear... I understand it's difficult, and there's nothing I can do to make it less difficult. You've shown up in a strange, unfamiliar place, and people are trying to catch you... Trusting someone takes a lot of courage, especially when you're so far from home! All I can say is, we want to bring you to a place that would be more comfortable for you, a place that's more like the home you disappeared from! So... it's up to you if you believe that or not.)
[doing lots of tags today~~~]
Ai giggled a bit at the reaction, but tried her best to disguise it with a (very fake) cough and a forced smile, turning pink.
Elena's voice is comforting and so is her advice... despite all of Cutiefly's misgivings about the idea, could it really be much worse than a net that's preventing it from flying?]
{... fine. I'll trust you. But if anything bad happens, you'll be sorry! You'll be sick with fever and paralyzed!}
[Quite the threat!]
{... but if everything goes well, like you said, and you all bring me to a nicer home...}
[The Cutiefly looked around at everyone, including the humans' faces, before bowing its head, resigning itself to capture.]
{Thank you.}
[The other Cutiefly waited to see what would happen.]
[was taking a small break from rp!]
At the threat, Elena's paws fly up and she gasps! She'd be covering her mouth if her paws reached that high up.]
(Goodness, I definitely don't want that to happen! We'll be very careful.)
[She bows, then turns to Gold and nods with a serious face.]
Oh, I guess they talked things out?
[Gold reaches to offer the Pokeball towards the Cutiefly, button first. He holds it out in the Cutiefly's reach, letting Cutiefly take the first move whenever it's ready.]
[I hope it was a good rest! ^^]
How mysterious... even though they all sound so different, they communicate so well... Pokemon are truly amazing, aren't they?
[Cutiefly closed its eyes and allowed itself to be captured. The other Cutiefly watched as the ball glowed, moved, then... finally settled. Cutiefly has been captured! The other Cutiefly descend on Gold and Ai too, eager for a home.]

[Yay, he got a Cutiefly! ...Holy wow, that's a lot of Cutiefly! Gold's a little taken aback.]
Uh, I guess these guys all wanna go with us too??
[He opens his bag and starts taking Pokeball after Pokeball out of there, setting them on the grass.]
