Turnbloom City

A pink-haired young man is walking around with an Eevee riding on his shoulder. They admire the wares at the Marketplace, examining clothes, souvenirs, and food. They find the latter especially delightful. If you happen to see them and catch the man's eye, he will greet you with,

"Hello! This is a charming place, isn't it? We like it very much, but would you happen to know the way back to Alola? Or Kalos?"

The Eevee chirps in greeting.

"Isn't it just?! The Alolan Champion's World Champion now! We're all so proud of him!" Lillie said just as eagerly!

The library wasn't too far, now!

"I didn't want to keep having to rely on others, so I got a job, but you don't have to get one right away. You can take your time getting to know the place, there are hotels and Pokemon Centers to stay at, like in other regions, and if you're ever in need, people will help you... it's very warm and close-knit, a lot like Alola!"

"And I'm sure Ash is very proud of his amazing Pokemon who led him to such a victory!" Ilima says.

"Vee!" says Eevee.

"It sounds wonderful here," Ilima says. "I'm sure we'll want to get a job, but we'll look all around first to see what's available and what might suit us best."

[-tests the water-]

"Of course!" Lillie happily agreed.

"It is... I just wish it were easier to travel between our world and this one, you know?"

Soon, they'll arrive at the library! It's a stately place, with much to offer scholars, even if, unfortunately, there's no access to the outside world and little even about it, there is some similarity between the languages of Hoenn and Ultern, at least!

"You can find information on everything here! ... but nearly nothing about the regions we know, even online... they have Ultern-only websites and things... sometimes, there's movies and books that people drifted in with, though!"

[Yay! Hi!]

Ilima sobers at that. "I definitely do," he says kindly.

The library fascinates him, and Eevee exclaims happily. "Excellent! We'll learn all we can about this world," Ilima says. "What do you recommend as a good book to get started?"

[Hiiii, hope you've been well!! ^^]

"Oh, well, I think learning about the various species of Ultern is a very useful place to start... learning the Ulternian language too, although they fortunately can speak the same common language as in our world... and I think it would be very helpful for you to acquire a map! Otherwise, the people are so helpful and kind, you can learn a great deal simply by asking."

As Lillie spoke, she guided Ilima to various sections of the library, Snowy running off to help point out where to find the books!

[Ups and downs, but alright! I hope things have got better for you!]

As Lillie speaks, Ilima is gathering books in each section of the library they visit. Eevee helps by pulling one down with his front paws and holding it out.

"Thank you, Eevee!" Ilima looks at the stack of books. "I think now we have an ideal starter course for Ultern. Do the people have any ideas about how or why the drifting happens?"

[I hope you'll have more ups than downs! ;3; I've had a nice vacation and I'm sorting things out]

"Not that I know of..." Lillie said with a frown. "Although, some have tried to study the patterns. There's a young researcher by the name of Alice, she studies a lot of the strange phenomena occuring in Ultern! She has long brown hair, parted down the middle, blue eyes, and wears glasses... I don't think she's much older than me, I think she's about my brother's age?"

Lillie thought for a moment, then smiled.

"You'll often see her doing field research, here and there, but her laboratory, at the edge of the Shrouded Woods, is also a good place to look!"

[Aww, thanks! That's great!]

"Excellent! We will have to speak with her. I'm sure that will be enlightening, even if she hasn't found all the answers yet," Ilima says.

Eevee warbles in agreement.

"What are the Pokemon battles like here?" Ilima wonders next. "Do they have any special power-ups such as Z Crystals or Mega Evolution?"
