In midst of a Summer Festival, yet again!

In the coastal city of Turnbloom yet again, the sun is bright and warm--but of course it's not the only place. All over Ultern everyone is enjoying the summer weather. Little by little, Ulternians and long-time Drifters alike have started to put out summer decorations throughout the start of August, which replaced the ones from Tanabata (if any had been left out to begin with).

There's a distinct sound of waves, and bustling of people nearby. Followed with the cool gentle breeze that carried the salty scent of the sea. Things seem to be at peace, as usual--or is it?

After all, there were always new Drifters popping in. Maybe today there just might be some new faces wandering through looking confused. Now's the time to step up and lend a helping hand. Icharibachoude, we're all brothers, as they say in Ultern!

Or heck, just feel free to enjoy the fun festivities filled with food and music.

That is, if you can--as behind the walls of houses in Ultern that day the familiar friendly faces all wake up with a surprise no one's expecting.

[It seemed sending out a third Pokemon wasn't helpful in the least. Not when Ash was shockingly stronger than he anticipated him to be. That and what further took this Team Flare member off guard was X himself, as he had dove straight into the line of danger--just so his Gengar could throw his Noivern off with an attack.]

Noivern! Hit the Gengar back with a Supersonic-

[His Noivern's turning to him with a look of confusion.]

Ugh, what are you doing?! Just listen to my command! Tch fine! Cyclizar! Klawf!

[He'll turn to the other two Pokemon. At least he knew they would follow his instructions, yet there was that brief hesitance again.]

...Klawf, harden! Cyclizar use Taunt!

[But very much like Noivern his two other Pokemon are making sounds of confusion. Why weren't any of them able to follow through with his commands?! His Cyclizar at least dropped its confusion and proceeded to turn to give chase after Ash's Pikachu.]

[The hesitant looks and cries from Team Flare's Pokemon did not go unnoticed in Ash's eyes. And it strikes him as odd.]

...Are they confused about something?

[Still, he has a chance of turning the battle's outcome to his and X's side. Team Flare is Team Flare after all.]

Pikachu, trap it with Electroweb! Sirfetch'd use Meteor Assault!

[Within seconds his Pokemon made their next move -- Pikachu flinging a web made of electricity at Cyclizar to slow it down, while his Sirfetch'd started charging towards Klawf with his leek sword aimed directly at the Pokemon at full power.]

Something's not adding up.

[X too will comment. Team Flare and their Pokemon, their cooperation as a team was poor. Plus it seemed whatever moves he called out--Team Flare's Pokemon didn't seem to register them. What was going on?

He doesn't dwell on it as Garma's another blow to Noivern with a Shadow Punch.]

[Meanwhile the Team Flare member grit his teeth, baring his pearly whites at them. He's reaching back for yet another Pokeball but stopped himself before turning his focus to his three that were already out on the field.]

I don't care what any of you do! Just fight back!

[He'll snap towards the three Pokemon who were taking the hit from both Ash and X's Pokemon. Cyclizar's making a upset sounding roar as he's slowed down by Electroweb. He will swish his tail before his hands began to glow from Dragon Claw to make a swipe at the Electroweb. Klawf meanwhile will bring up its claw to defend itself.

Noivern dove down after taking a hit from Garma's Shadow Punch but immediately break it's fall as a current of wind began to pick up from it's next attack--Hurricane. The Team Flare agent is watching them silently, as if trying to figure out what to do next.]
