Arrival, Part 1

Anyone walking out on Stardust Beach might be surprised to see someone new, a young man with brown hair lying facedown in the sand, groaning. A Carnivine hovers over him worriedly, drifting back and forth in what looks like the equivalent of pacing. Finally, he turns over, looking up at her.

"Ugh, Macy...where are we?"

"Vine..." She sounds just as confused as he is.

Arrival, Part 2

Meanwhile, Turnbloom Gym now has a young teen hanging around outside, face pressed against the glass as they observe the gym interior. They're holding a carved walking stick that seems way too tall for them. After a bit, they try to wave down a passerby.

"Hey! Do you know where we are? And have you seen my dad?"

Arrival Part 1!

X had just arrived at Stardust Beach when noticing both trainer and Carnivine in the sand. It doesn't take his sharp eye sight to immediately pick up on Carnivine's worry, and the trainer's status. Rushing over, he'll call out.

"Hey--are you hurt anywhere?" Once close enough he'll be kneeling down, and digging into his bag for a water bottle. It was better than nothing if the guy had any notable injuries--or better yet parched.

There are the burn scars on his face and hand, and possibly extending over his whole left side, but they're obviously pretty old-no recent injuries.

"I don't think so," he says after a moment, doing a brief inventory of his own body. "Some aches, but they're on the weaker side." Macy reaches out to take the water bottle, using some of her vines to unscrew it while the others support Nathaniel in sitting up.

X will let Macy take the water bottle--rather a pokemon the guy trusted than make him uncomfortable. Listening to Nathaniel, he'll nod.

"That's good...do you remember anything? Do you feel hot in anyway? You might need to step out of the light."

Of course, he wasn't a medical expert but he knew well enough it wasn't a good idea to be out under the sun without any protection like this. Plus, there was no telling just how long Nathaniel had been like this before finding him.

He frowns, rubbing his forehead as he tries to think. "I do feel warm. I want to find somewhere I can properly sit down, anyways."

"There's a Pokemon Center nearby. Can you stand?" He's questioning while glancing over to Nathaniel's Pokemon, and back to Nathaniel. "If you need help..."

X trailed off to give Nathaniel the choice to make that call. He wasn't going to leave the other on his own.

In response, Nathaniel reaches out to Macy, letting her use her vines to support him, but he winces as he tries to stand.

"...fine, I suppose another hand wouldn't hurt."
