[... Listen, AZ is used to drifting places, but this? This is a new one. At least all of his pokemon are with him - including Floette. He lets her out of her ball immediately as soon as he wakes up.]

[His coat is... heavy, but he doesn't change his clothes. He doesn't fit in any of the clothes that he might buy here anyway.]

Turnbloom City

[A shadow might fall over you or your pokemon. Large, imposing... fluffy? Well, that definitely is long white hair poking out from his hat, and the giant man seems to be curious about what's around him. He looks down and takes a step back from whomever he was going to bump into, looking around.]

S... sorry...

[He tugs his hat down a little more to hide his eyes, nervously trying to figure out a route to escape to.]

Route 1

[There's someone by the lighthouse... you might be forgiven for mistaking him for a pokemon, but no - it's just a very large man. He does seem to have an unusual set of pokemon around him - a Torkoal, a Golurk, a Sigilyph, and a... small pokemon that's hard to see until you get close, but it's a strangely-colored Floette.]

[They're sitting at the edge of the cape and he's dangling his legs off the side of the cliffs. His hat is off, so his fluffy hair is on full display.]

[It's been a day or two since he's arrived? That would certainly explain why he hadn't run into AZ until now. Nevertheless he couldn't deny feeling a sense of relief meeting the man.]

Since we're both here...did you have any plans in town? I was just exploring since I hadn't made my way here before now.

I... didn't. I thought I might check the Pokemon Center. It'd be nice to fill up on supplies while I'm here as well...

[He does eat... a lot. Less than he should, for his size, but still a lot.]

I know where it is, if you want someone to guide you there.

[AKA wanting an excuse to stick around AZ a little more. Sure, he wasn't that close to the man back in his world but he knew he could trust AZ. Plus it was a relief, seeing a familiar face.]

That would be very helpful. You'd think that with how tall I am it'd be easier, but...

[To be honest the general busyness of a town is enough to overwhelm him.]

[!!!]

It's okay. They're rather nice here.

[He hadn't really considered how it must feel for AZ to end up in an unfamiliar place like Ultern. He thought maybe this man would be unfazed but that isn't true, was it? After all he's seen just how AZ could be, at least. A tiny bit.]

Don't worry, just follow me.

[He'll step forward in the direction of the Pokemon Center. As he does so, Coiffe will trot after him.]

All right.

[He follows after X, taking small steps so he doesn't overtake the boy. He does try to be considerate. ... He ignores the stares of the locals. They'll just have to deal with it. It's not like he can change his height.]

[AZ may be used to it, but X however--the stares made him uncomfortable. It felt like the path ahead of him was suddenly longer than it actually was. Steeling himself, and trying not to have uncomfortable memories resurface he continued forward.

Coiffe is doing his best to keep up with both AZ and X. He'll even make quacking noises right up to X, snapping the younger trainer out of his thoughts.]

Oh...right.

[He'll stop a second to gently scoop his Quaxly into his arms. Once comfortably settled, X will lift his gaze up to the Pokemon Center that soon towered before them.]

Here it is. I'm more familiar with the Pokemon Center in the other town, but this one has been nice too.

[He's careful to not step on anyone or anything, but he doesn't say anything until they arrive. It's nice to know that there's other towns, but...]

Where is the next town, then? I'm... I should get a map of some sort...

[Maybe he can sell a few things in his bag for some money?]

I think they had maps and travel guides inside.

[He recalled seeing a stack of magazines out in the lobby. Whether they were free or not, that much he hadn't remembered. As he stepped inside, the nice cool breeze that hit him from the air conditioning was welcoming after walking under the sun for a while. Glancing around, the lobby as usual had trainers and Pokemon around no doubt there to take a breather or stock up.

None of them seemed to mind the newcomers, except for a few surprised seeing someone as tall as AZ. His sensitive ears could even pick up on what they had to say about them, or specifically AZ and to his surprise none were negative remarks.

Just a brief excited chatter, and "Wow I want to be that tall! So cool! What do you think you gotta eat to get that tall-?" "If you give thanks and eat all your vegetables..." things of that nature.

Turning his attention away from them, X looked over to the nearby magazine racks.]

There, one of these should have a map of this place.

[He ignores the remarks - he can hear them too - and crouches to pick out a pair of maps and travel guides. He looks around and Floette hovers closer to him - she's here, she's here. He's not alone. He takes a deep breath and turns back to X, nodding.]

Thank you. ... Here.

[He holds out the other map and travel guide, ducking his head slightly to hide behind his hair.]

You should have one, too. It's... good to at least know where you're going.

[At the offered map, X was unable to hide his surprise. He hadn't expected to get anything in return when he just wanted to help AZ out. Smiling, he'll take the offered map and travel guide.]

Thanks, Mr. AZ. This will come in handy.

[Next to him, his Quaxly, Coiffe will gave a happy quack in response.]

That's right...is there anything else you need here, Mr. AZ?
