Spring is around the corner-

[ulternprofessor]

[Over at the Banyan Research Lab it's not hard to notice Professor Banyan right outside. His lab coat is left by front porch with his Ulternian Pikachu having taken over it during its nap time, as he's tending to his front yard. He can be heard humming a song while working away.

For anyone passing by he'll be more than happy to have a chat.


Otherwise aside from gardening, the Professor will be seen nearby the shores intensely studying nearby Pokemon on the beach. He's got a notepad in hand to occasionally jot down his observations.]

"Ain't it?" Banyan chuckled. "The Sunkerns tend to bloom around this season too since it starts getting warmer. I betcha there be more grass type Pokemon out and about too."

"So pretty! Do they ever come and dance in your yard?" Evie pictured Bellossom doing their famous dances.

[ulternprofessor]

"Ya bet! You can easily find them in a lot of fields too around spring time, and of course the summer too." He nodded, while thinking about not just the Sunflora but Bellossom too.

"I'll look for them! It would be fun to dance with them!"

[ulternprofessor]

"You like to dance too Evie?" He chuckled. "Well shoot! Be sure to invite me too. It'll be fun if we could all sing and dance together, don't ya think?"

[radleyslittleevie]

"Yeah! That would be so fun!" Evie beams. "Do they like others dancing with them?"

[ulternprofessor]

"I'd say they do! But it never hurts to ask 'em too." He chuckled. "I'm sure they would like a new friend to join 'em."

[radleyslittleevie]

"I hope so! I love friends!" Evie says.

[ulternprofessor]

"How many friends have ya made so far, Evie? Ya gotta tell me all about your adventures here." Banyan chuckled, endeared by Evie's jolliness.

"I made lots! I went down to the beach and talked to someone who knows an alternate me in another world! And I go to the market and help people with their stalls, finding things for them!"

[ulternprofessor]

"Oh?" Banyan's interest is perked. "So ya met someone who made friends with another you? That's nice that you could be friends with them too." He nodded with a smile.

"Yer such a good lil' thing, helping people out. That reminds me! I should thank you for helping me out. What would you like as a reward?"

[radleyslittleevie]

"Yeah! The other me is with Radley too! I'll be with mine someday. I'm sure of it!"

She beams. "I love to help! I don't need a reward, but ... I do love yummy food!"

[ulternprofessor]

"I'll be! I hope ya get to see Radley soon too, Evie." He'll nod wanting to share in with her optimism. He was never the type who wanted to see anyone sad.

"Hmm...well I think I got just the thing!" He'll walk over to where his labcoat had been left. He had to carefully maneuver around his sleeping Pikachu to pull out colorful looking petal cookies. (They had actually been his snack for later, but that's a secret-)

Walking back to Evie, Banyan will squat down and hold a few cookies out to her.

"Whaddya think? Does some cookies sound good to ya?"

[radleyslittleevie]

"Yeah!"

Evie beams, then waits patiently. When he comes back, she is delighted.

"They look so good! Thank you!"

She starts eating.

[ulternprofessor]

"Glad ya like 'em." Banyan chuckled. "Lemme know if you want any more, but don't eat too much. Ya gotta save room for your meal later."

There's a playful wink from the Professor.

Evie happily eats a couple. "Ooh, a meal?!"

[ulternprofessor]

"That's right! But that'll be a lil' bit later." Banyan winked playfully. "In the mean time, ya wanna tell me how yer day been today? I've got time...and this garden needs some water to be done still. It'd be nice if ya keep me company."

[radleyslittleevie]

"Sure!" Evie was happy to stick around and provide company and help. "I went to the market to help with some of the stalls. I bring things to the vendors so they can set up and I help customers find things they'd like!"
