A camera? Drasiel's seen those before. She doesn't mind, but she's also not the type to pose for pictures, so she just nods, then waits for Trip to take a photo, before sitting down on the floor near Gold to talk with Gold's Pokemon while they're in their Pokeballs.
"Me too!" Gold says. It was for a pretty short time, but he managed to reunite with Silver!
Gold doesn't look as serious as Trip about the attack on Goldenrod anymore, now that he's experienced it himself. So he just shrugs casually with a small smile.
"Pretty well," Gold says. "I mean, the Team Rocket grunts on the streets had their hands full trying to deal with the Gym Leader and her Miltank rolling all over them, so I mostly just wandered around looking for Silver, defeated some Rockets that tried to stop me, talked to people... And then I found him in the underground tunnel!"
Gold's smile drops then, and he gets a bit of a faraway look in his eyes. Silver... What went on between the two of them back there isn't something he wants to share with anyone. Not all of it, at least...
Gold sips some tea, thinking of what to say, before putting his smile back on and continuing.
"He was alright and all, but he wasn't, like, alright in a way where it'd be chill for him to walk out on his own, y'know? So I held his hand and lead him out of the city, and then told him to go to my dad's place while I went back and dealt with the rest of the Rockets. But since Silver didn't have any Pokemon that knew Fly, I let him borrow Nerica, and he let me borrow Drasiel in return. Then we split up, I called my dad, and headed back to Goldenrod City... But right when I stepped through the gate, bam! Ultern again." Gold sighs, long and drawn out. "Well, I did the most important thing I wanted to do, so I guess it's fine, but that's a weird moment to pick to send me back, right?"
