A day to Return your gratitude!

Today is Return Day in Ultern.

Happy families, and blushing couples can be seen excitedly exchanging gifts that day. Not only that but it seemed the Pokemon too can be seen handing gifts out to their own family and friends, be it another Pokemon or a person.

Like any other holiday in Ultern there seems to be excitement in the air. In fact, everyone just might notice there are Gracidea flowers blooming here, there and seemingly everywhere especially out in the fields. People here can be seen decorating their place with the flowers, or even handing out bouquets of them as gifts to those they hold dear.

Maybe, just maybe there's someone out there waiting to send you a gift too. Or perhaps there's someone you're excited to send a gift to...?

Ah--ulsai, Alice! I see Fate has grown so much bigger than last time we saw each other. Oh, that's right. Here!

[He's holding out the wrapped package out for Alice.]

I made some for you and your Pokemon too. I hope you like pastries.

[Alice takes the package and opens it. Fate waddles over curiously to look up.]

Thank you! They've all been working hard today. They're having a lot more success than I am, really.

[Inside the box is a deep fried and sugar coated Paldean pastry know as the Xuixo. Unlike Manzana's other attempts at food (especially sandwiches) it didn't look like a disaster had struck it.]

[Manzana smiled in response. He will chuckle softly.]

Well...I am sure that you are doing your best too. That must be why Fate is working just as hard.

Oh, thank you! I'll make sure to share it with everyone. I'd have tried baking, but I'd say I'm worse at that than flower weaving. The last time I tried to make a batch of cinnamon helixes, I had to throw out the pan because the bottom burned out.

You burned out the bottom of the pan?!

[Manzana's unable to hide his surprise. Or maybe he shouldn't have been given Alice's peculiar behavior at times...but he wasn't exactly the best at anything other than baking. So, same hat...?]

That must have been hard to deal with but what was it that you were trying to bake...?

Oh, cinnamon helixes? I guess other places call them rolls or buns. It's popular back home, so I thought it couldn't be that hard.
