Today in Ultern the delicious smell of Petal Cookies may waft throughout! It looks like there's someone out there already practicing for the upcoming Harvesting Bonds Festival by baking a lot of cookies. Like, a lot! So much so they've set up advertising free cookies for all in a variety of colors, flavors and shapes too!

Why not go ahead and take a few? It looks like there's plenty of Ulternians and Drifters alike already enjoying some without any signs of adverse effects anyway-

[X watched the two argue back and forth, crossing his arms. The scene before him was reminding him how Shauna and Y would argue--or just Shauna in general. Maybe it was something like that?]

Hey, hey Mister! You should still let her down! Even if you like somebody you can't force them to do what they don't like! Can't you tell she's not comfortable?!

[He's approaching closer because of course he would while tugging at Pokemon the man's arm.]

[There's a sigh of relief from X when Mayday had been set down. Although at the reveal of both the name and Mayday's reaction he's blinking in confusion.]

What do you mean? Do you not recognize your friend here? Huh, it must be this region's weirdness spiking up again. Your friend Weenis? What does he look like normally?

Well, I guess can’t really imagine any sane human wandering around dressed like that, even in a place like this, so that’s a point in your favor, at least… [She still looks pretty skeptical. Her voice trails off and she turns her attention back to X.] Hey. What did you mean about “this region’s weirdness”?

[X is nodding along to Mayday's explanation--until the reveal. He blinked, and stared at Weenis who was most definitely not a Pokemon! Huh.]

Hmm...is there another holiday coming up?

[He's crossing his arms looking thoughtfully over at Weenis. At Mayday's question X turned to face her.]

Wait, don't tell me you're new here? There's all sorts of oddities that goes down! Like people forced to spontaneously speak the truth, or people's ages changing..... but that one a Pokemon seemed to be involved. I guess the first one too? Oh, right! Also Pokemon becoming large. Something about a phenomenon... Dynamax? I should have kept notes on the last one since it sounds like it'd be really useful in battles. I haven't had a good battle in a while, speaking of. Oh, except during the summer Festival when a lot of people's ages were changing up.
