Edge of Turnbloom City

[A Seviper wearing a number of things hovers at the edge of Turnbloom City. It has a red and orange cape on, is wearing a carry bag, and an amulet is tied around its neck. The Seviper makes no attempt to enter the city, opting only to stare into it, shifting its focus from one thing to another.

And then it catches sight of you approaching, tensing up a little. Unfortunately, if a human happens to approach him, he'll start backing away.]

Shrouded Woods, closed to Non-Humans

[The Seviper doesn't stay there forever. He eventually retreats into the neighboring forest, opting to try and hide from human civilization. Whatever you're doing in the forest, A Seviper enters your view. He quickly notices you, too, and courteously bows down to you, speaking in the language only Pokemon can understand, as all Pokemon can.]

I greet you. It sure is a beautiful day, is it not?

[Nnnnnot... necessarily... Alternate universes, yo. While Kebi hasn't even thought about them since he got here, they're still a thing that exist. Nonetheless, Kebi smiles appreciatively.]

I thank you for the praise, but it may have been better if the world didn't need to be saved twice over already. I'm afraid I don't enjoy the fact that people were in danger. But... let's hope it doesn't... but if it comes down to it, I'll try to assist in saving everyone a third time.

[Innocent Evie hasn't even considered alternate universes. But she ponders these thoughts with a serious frown.]

You're right, it's awful people were in danger! Was it Team Rocket?

Er... I have no idea who that team is, but.. the first time, it was accidentally caused by some scientists doing experimental research involving Porygon. It had caused this universe and another to begin overlapping, causing glitches in reality. A group, including me, was recruited to attempt to put a stop to it before Palkia would be forced to step in and obliterate the entire region.

The second, Darkrai had wanted to unfortunately extend his reach from the dream world into the real world, and the only way to put a stop to it was sealing the dream world so it could no longer be accessed.

[Kebi is so unused to this type of praise.]

Erm, I thank you... May I ask what this Team Rocket is? Is it some sort of pokemon gang?

They're humans and Pokemon both! They steal Pokemon and they're so mean! They want to take over the world too!

[Oh... Kebi's face gets filled with both concern and pity.]

I'm sorry to hear that. May I ask what he looks like? If I may, I can assist in finding him.

Well, when I saw him he was 11, and that was years ago. He has black hair and green eyes and he's so kind and gentle with Pokemon!

[There's bound to be a ton of humans with black hair and green eyes, but being kind and gentle to Pokémon should narrow it down quite a bit. Kebi gives a firm nod and a reassuring smile.]

Guildmates like me area also supposed to assist other Pokemon in whatever they ask, so you may count on me! I will make sure to keep an eye out, okay?

[Kebi can't help but chuckle a little at this little Eevee's exuberance.]

I believe it shouldn't be about you helping me, but me helping you. I'm not the one that lost their trainer.

Yeah, that's true.... We're both in this new place, though! Maybe I can help you find something or tell you more about here!

Surely you've explored this place more than I have, correct? May I ask for a quick summary of everything this place has to offer? Cities, caves, troublemakers, and the like?

Well, I haven't seen a whole lot. I saw a fun festival and a city, and now I'm seeing this forest! The people are really nice! I haven't seen any bad guys yet!
