let's gather 'round the campfire
Whichever Pokemon Center you’ve visited, you may come across a particular flyer at the bulletin board. At the front of the flyer is decorated with various Pokemon, a couple of which aren’t seen in Ohritori Island. The wordings of course, are in its Ulternian script, but luckily there’s a translation of it just below the text.

— LIMITED TIME OFFER —
SWAYING HAVEN SUMMER CAMP
SEE THE GREAT POKEMON PARADISE OF ULTERN IN CHURA ISLAND
FREE ADMISSION
For inquiries or sign-ups, just ask the Pokemon Center’s attendant to help you out.
It seems like the camping event is going to take place on an island further from where you currently are. Upon inquiry, you’ve been told that the travel fees are covered and the only thing you’re advised is to bring a tent or sleeping bag, an extra set of clothes, and your own food. The camp itself lasts for three days, making the rainforest trip seemingly worthwhile. With your interest piqued, you’ve set forth towards Chura Island.
After taking the ferry to Port Opportune, a Pokemon Ranger (introducing herself as Willy) guides you and the rest of the group as you pass through Crabrawler Coast and Adanook Town, then took the bright yellow-roped trail upon entering the forest until finally… you reach the campsite. A large wooden arch greets you and the visitors with large words etched on the signboard affixed to it.
Welcome to Lakeside Camp
((ooc: Introducing Swaying Haven, the largest rainforest in all of Ultern! You can create a starter thread underneath each day. Of course, your character is free to leave camp and explore the rest of Chura Island on their own if they like! Enjoy your stay!))

DAY ONE
Now that you’re in camp, you’re given ample time to pitch a tent and gather materials for the campfire. Or if you signed up to stay in a cabin, you can settle your bags and get to know with your fellow bunkmates and get along with them. We really hope that you do get along with them though.
B. Forest Tour
This is where the majority of the day is spent. You and other fellow campers are taken to traverse through the wonders of Swaying Haven. Leading the way around the forest is Ranger Willy with Ranger Rille assisting her as they both take you to each and every designated forest area — with the exception of Area Three of course.
((ooc: For the Forest Tour, feel free to request for either of the two rangers if you’d like your character to converse with them.))

[Alice took her time setting up her tent, but it went up eventually, so now she's wandering around gathering sticks and pinecones. She'll wave if she sees you, dropping a few.]
About how many do you think we'll need? It's been a while since I was out camping with more than just my team.
[B]
[When they pass the mine in Area One, Alice adjusts her glasses and fixes her eyes on it.]
It's amazing to see how quickly nature reclaimed the area! I wonder what kinds of Pokémon must live there now? Do you see anything?
B
At the question, he comes over and tilts his head slightly for a few seconds before pointing.]
There's a Pikachu coming out of a hole in the wall there.
[Dude's got good eyes!]

[She adjusts her hat and looks over at where he's pointing.]
Oh, there is! I could barely see it, good job! It makes sense, there are so many around this area. The regional form is a little bigger than the ones back home, so that does make them somewhat easier to spot...

[Obviously not here, but there are plenty of Pokemon on the mainland! He didn't arrive with any Pokemon, of course. But he has fond memories of time spent with the first Miraidon...it could be nice.]

[Even Miraidon - whichever of them - neither of them were his partner per se. The Professor was attached to them; he tended to take the lead on their care.]

"Uggghhh, this suuucks," Gold complains as he's trying and failing to pitch his tent. It falls down on him for the fifth time, and Gold just sighs and sits down, throwing the tent pole half-heartedly. It lands a few meters away. "I shoulda just gone for a cabin..."
He got a bit curious about camping recently, so when he saw the sign advertising it for free, he had to join in, but now he's seriously regretting it.
B)
"Hey, hey," Gold asks, yanking lightly on Ranger Rille's sleeve to get his attention, a map of the Swaying Haven clutched in his hand. "What's Area Three?" he asks with the meticulously innocent curiousity of someone who is definitely not getting any ideas about sneaking off to areas with 'forbidden' in their name.

"Anyway, why are you wearing all white? Doesn't it get dirty when you're doing ranger stuff?" The question is more to change the subject so Rille won't get suspicious, but it is something that's been bothering Gold.

"I may be part of the team, but this uniform is part of the Aether Foundation--it's an organizations back in the Alola region that rescue Pokemon who have been injured and help them integrate back into their homes within the wild." He began to explain. "The Chura Rangers were kind enough to allow me to help them with my expertise."

DAY TWO
To make the second day of camp fun for everyone, the rangers had set up a treasure hunt for campers interested in taking part with. Campers are tasked to search for either a Balm Mushroom or the Pokemon called Wiki. And now that you were given the tour, rangers have given the campers free reign to wander about the forest on their own — provided they still follow the Ranger Rules and use the designated forest trail.
Campers who have successfully completed their treasure hunt are rewarded fifty (50) Yago Berries and an Amulet Coin.
D. Campfire Cooking
One of the rangers had just provided you with a recipe for making campfire stew and even encouraged you to give it a try. So the fire is lit, and the ingredients are set. It’s time to get cooking! And it’ll be a lot more fun doing so while in the wilderness! Here’s hoping you or your partner know how to cook! Just make sure not to start a forest fire, okay?
C
"Eevee-vee!" Eevee chirps, bounding ahead. This is so fun!
"Do you see anything, Eevee?" Chloe asks. "Don't go off the trail!"

I wonder where it could be out here...
[Crystal turns when she hears the signs of an Eevee as it comes up behind her]
Well hey there, you sure seem excited.

Chloe catches up.]
Hi. Yeah, Eevee loves learning new things and meeting Pokemon.
[She smiles.]

Then I guess you must be looking for that mysterious "wiki" too.

How helpful that is depends on if Doduo live in this jungle, though...

[She chuckles.]
I think Eevee hopes they'll come out and be friends.

DAY THREE
As the season of summer approaches, the temperatures around the forest start to become extra humid. So why not cool down at Lake Aventurine? It’s located not too far from the camp, and campers are free to swim in it. There are also a few Drakhari waiting on the lakeshore and eager to have you ride on their backs.
F. Bonfire
It’s the final night at camp, and to end things off… the Ulternian campers have started dancing as per their tradition. One of them brought their sanshin along to play to the tune of this song. So enjoy this moment until it lasts – be free to drink and dance the night away!
