[this is the first time I've ever felt like a character was so high energy, he's exhausting, PFFT]
"You're right!" he practically squealed with excitement.
Calyrex quickly became the focus of all his attention! He vaguely noticed the sanshin because it was colourful, but he wanted to get right to Calyrex, so he took off running!
