[1+2; opposite day for Buson with no self-restraint... + CW passing alcohol references]

"Ooh, they're so colourful! Never seen 'em in colours like that before."

Buson, already very fond of chinsuko, snapped up two at once, all different flavours. Dry and spicy easily caught his eye, the orange and blue. He even considered grabbing the yellow sour one, but he had to try these first.

"Nifee deebiru!"

He decided to take a seat right there, not too far from the stand, hoping to go back for more.

"Kuwacchi sabira!"

Sure, he'd use itadakimasu at home, but he'll switch languages to match the locals. He takes a bite. It sure is spicy!

"Whoa... that wasn't spicy one bit!" he said, despite blinking back tears.

Wait, he hadn't meant to say that... was it so spicy, he got confused? He looked at the biscuit again, suspiciously, before taking a bite of his dry biscuit, hoping to counteract the spiciness. It had an astringent taste that made his mouth feel dry.

"It's almost like... wine...?"

These chinsuko were very, very weird. But hey, he's not a kid or a lightweight, he can't get drunk off sweets, this is ridiculous. He ought to complain! Wait, no, he shouldn't? That person's offering them for free and doesn't deserve—no, but, he really felt like he ought to give them a piece of his mind, so, as if compelled, he got up and marched over to the baker.

"Your chinsuko's some of the sweetest, least spiciest chinsuko I ever tasted in my whole life!" he grumbled, in an ill-fittingly annoyed tone, looking more and more confused at how everything he said was the exact opposite of what he wanted to say. "All of this makes perfect sense, I mean every word I say, and I am in PERFECT control of myself and my whole life!"
