A. Snack Thief

[Good morning/afternoon/day/whatever, Ultern, hope you're enjoying your nice, peaceful day nearly a week after the summer festival...!

Havine a nice snack? Enjoying breakfast, lunch, perhaps even tea?

Well, better keep a close eye on your food, because a certain someone's made her arrival and she'll be nicking food left unguarded. She's so shameless, in fact, that even if she's caught red-handed, she'll not only keep eating it right in front of you, but she might even give her (completely unsolicited) opinions and advice on your cooking skills or lack thereof. The gall!

And to add insult to injury, if you leave a whole feast behind, weeeell, Georgia can eat a full course meal meant for three people and their Pokemon... she can, and she will, and she has done so in the past!) ]

B. Worthy Adversary

[Georgia can also be found, eagerly and enthusiastically training her Pokemon in the woods, latest one to be called out is Bisharp!]

Take to the front, Bisharp! [Like a soldier to the front lines! Georgia's quite dedicated to the image of a Dragon-slaying knight theme, after all!]

Alright, we've gotta practice all we can, so we won't ever lose to a Dragon type again! Iris made it all the way to the Masters 8! I always knew she'd be a great Dragon Master, a worthy opponent! Just the person we're meant to beat! We can't slack off now, Bisharp!

[When Georgia pumped a fist in the air, Bisharp mirrored her.]

Hehe... [Georgia grinned sharply.] See that? Perfectly in sync! We're a great team! We don't need special powers to be on the same wavelength.

At first Evie the Eevee thinks Georgia is just really hungry, so the first time she sees food swiping, she lets it slide. But after seeing it several times, she's pretty sure that's not the case. She steps out and frowns.

"That's not very nice to keep taking everyone else's food," she says.

[pfft, she doesn't think Evie's real yet!!!]

"W-wha...?!"

Georgia flinches, confused and more than a little freaked out by the talking Eevee?!

"What was in that bun...?!"

Georgia threw away the totally-not-suspicious-at-all stolen bun.

[X too was out in the woods, with a Pokedex in hand. He had originally stepped into it to observe more of the Pokemon around the area until he picked up on the sounds of Georgia and her Pokemon's training. Curious he'll approach closer--his Chesnaught, Marisso could be seen walking close by him.

Instead of greeting Georgia like a normal person would, X is pointing his Pokedex towards Bisharp, never having seen one up close before.]

You're Pokemon, it's from the Unova region?

[He'll question while finally turning his attention over to Georgia. Unlike his trainer, Marisso will look over with a friendly smile.]

Uh? Creee~py!

[This kid sure was quiet, she hadn't even noticed him approaching, but despite the cold reception, she then gave him a smile. She wasn't really scared! A little like Trip, then, not much of a talker? It's cool.]

Duh, 'cause that'd be where we're from! Put'er there!

[Playfully, Georgia stuck out a hand for a shake.] I'm Georgia the Dragon Buster and this is Bisharp!

Sooooo, this place really isn't Unova, huh?

[Gold had set up a little picnic for himself, Paldean-style. No table, but he'd brought sandwich ingredients and set them up on a blanket, and his Pokemon were out of their Pokeballs, playing ball. He finished a sandwich, set it down, and looked away for a moment to get the ingredients for a second sandwich... But he'd been defending his food for his whole life. When Georgia tries to snatch his sandwich up, Gold reacts with no thought, just pure instinct.

He lunges in an instant to cover his sandwich like a mother Arcanine defending its young, turning to the would-be thief with a growl and BARKS in their face, both to startle and confuse the thief.]

UhwWHAT THE—

[Congratulations, Gold, you've absolutely scared the pants off Georgia! She tumbles backwards and lands with her face down in the dirt, legs in the air, and her newsboy cap smushed beside her.

She blinks, dazed, through the mud caking her face.]

[gold_drum]

[Gold blinks as well, surprise and fight reaction wearing off. He stares back, standing guard over his sandwich on all fours.]

......

Uh...

[And then his Umbreon, Mateo, comes running in, alerted by the bark, and growls at Georgia. Was his trainer in trouble? Does he have to bite someone??]

Ah, no, Mateo, calm down, it's fine. Shh.

[Mateo's growling quiets down, but he's still glaring at Georgia. Gold, however, gives Georgia a kind of confused smile, because smiling is his default reaction when he doesn't know what else to do.]

Did you just try to steal my food?

[dragonbuster]

[... she's just going to... shift a little so she's got her hands on the ground besides her head (a pitying frown at her poor hat), before swinging her legs up high and then lowering herself onto her shoulders and then back. Sitting up now and dusting off and fluffing up her hat as well as she can.]

... stealing's such an ugly word... I was just borrowing a little bite to eat.

[But she's smiling, and seemingly friendly. X could try to return that gesture at the very least. Reaching out he'll take ahold of her hand for a shake.]

I'm X, this is Marisso.

[He'll turn and nod over to his Chesnaught.]

No, right now we're in a region known as Ultern.

Oh, borrowing it.

[Gold nods, sitting back down.]

You were gonna give it back after pooping it out?

[Aw… Georgia didn’t mean to really make him upset! Her gaze softens immediately, but yep, keeping up the friendliness!]

Nice to meet you, X!

Marisso, huh? Are you from Ultern? I’ve never heard of it before!

[dragonbuster]

[Georgia blinks in surprise.]

Gross! You're nasty, aren't you?

[But it's quickly followed up with a hearty laugh.] No, sorry, guess it's not really borrowing then... oh, well.

"That wasn't nice either!" Evie says. "You should get them a new one!"

[Gold grins at the reaction, and laughs when Georgia laughs. It's actually kind of nice meeting another food thief, and someone with a sense of humor, too!]

Hey, if you're hungry, wanna eat with me? I'll give you a good deal, just 500 pokeyen and you can have one of my breads and use some of my toppings too!

[He grins, making a "ta-dah" kind of gesture towards his sandwich ingredients. He's got mayo, pickles, ham, lettuce and tomatoes!

His Umbreon is still glaring at Georgia suspiciously, though.]

[a menace, but Gold's handling her well!!!]

Ooh, what a steal!

[Georgia liked him~if he's willing to share food, he can't be too bad a guy! But just for safety's sake... she selects a pokeball.]

Heyyy, how about I let a Pokemon out too, since ya got your grumpy little Umbreon out there too? [Mateo looks mad, but she has to tease it, smugly sticking her tongue out at it in what she hoped to get away with as a playful gesture, then, eagerly asks Gold:] Wanna meet a Beartic or a Bisharp? Or how about Vanilluxe? Vaniluxe looks just like two ice cream cones melted together!

[She's definitely selecting the lettuce, tomatoes, a little mayo, and even pickles!]

[well, this is a trainwreck...]

"Oh, boy..." Georgia giggles weakly, before slapping her cheeks with a resounding SMACK!

"Alright, Georgia! Pull yourself together! There is noooo talking Eevee! This is a figment of your imagination! If we did eat something funny or this is some kind of Pokemon's illusion... Beartic, Bisharp, take to the front!"

Georgia casts out two pokeballs and her Pokemon emerge, kneeling on one knee, very knightly~

Might need to clear up the misunderstanding, Evie!

Evie beams at the Pokemon. "Hi! I don't want to fight. I just think the food should be replaced. I'm sure almost everyone here would be happy just to share with your person if she asked!"

[Gold has found a kindred soul!]

[gold_drum]

Isn't it? You can pay up front!

[Gold will hold out a hand for the money with a smile. He's not giving free food on the first meeting (unless you're literally starving with no money...)]

Sure, why not? [Mateo definitely growls and bristles at her teasing, but Gold pats him without pause, quieting him down.] Vanilluxe? That sounds like a Vanillite, is that an evolution of it? I wanna see it!

[he sure has!!!]

Got it, chief! [She hands him the money and immediately prepares to dig in!]

Ooh, so you do know a thing or two about Unovan Pokemon! Yep, she's the final evolutionary form of the Vanillite line!

[Georgia returns the first pokeball she selected and brings out another one.]

Come on out, Vanilluxe!

[Vanilluxe emerged, floating lazily, as she isn't often called into battles and especially not like that. Much like Doduo or Weezing, it looks more like two Pokemon... like two large Vanillite stuck together at the side, with two cones and a third, much larger cone between them extending between them. There's a long, tubular ice crystal sticking out of one of them, that looks almost like a straw or maybe one of those straw-like, rolled wafer Piroulines.]

Thanks! [Gold will pocket that money! Then he'll start working on sandwiches for his Pokemon, too.]

Yeah, I've got a friend from Unova who's got a Vanillite! He loves that little guy.

[Gold smiles with pure joy at seeing Vanilluxe.]

Woah, it's even more like an ice cream now! Hi there!

[He waves at Vanilluxe, wondering if maybe Trip had evolved his Vanillite at some point, too.]

Beartic and Bisharp both stare at Evie, surprised. Georgie looks between the two, before becoming increasingly agitated.

"You mean I'm not the only one seeing this?! I just threw away a perfectly good bun!! I think... it landed on just the grass, maybe I could still pick it clean—"

Evie just carries on, huh... Beartic and Bisharp nod in response.

{... is that true?} Beartic asks, sounding genuinely surprised.

{Sounds reasonable,} Bisharp says.

"... alright, I guess you're... not imaginary after all," Georgia says, giving up and accepting Evie's existence. "I don't even know who half the people I took food from were, though, or how much stuff costed."

"Yeah! People here are really nice!"

Evie nods. "I started talking when I came here!" She frowns at Georgia. "Why do you take food from people?"

Marisso's his name. He's a Chesnaught.

[X will begin to explain. At her question, he shook his head.]

I'm from the Kalos region along with Marisso here. ...it seems like none of us who show up here have heard of Ultern until we just show up here, out of the blue.

"Hmm."

Georgia can't exactly take an Eevee's word for it (or can she?), so she'd have to keep her wits about her!

"Here being...? And why do you think someone would take food?"
